Dr. Melinda Dunlap

"I started chemotherapy and had a psychosis episode, or at least I think I I had one. This was a scary event for me. Dr Dunlap felt that she could not care for me further and dropped me as a patient. I had just been diagnosed of Multiple myeloma and the chemotherapy was extremely harsh on me. My family was concerned and had different opinions which Dr Dunlap did not like. However she took this out on me. I being a ER physician for 35 years, felt that this was very unprofessional. She was not thorough and was quick to treat without spending time to explain what was the best management for my cancer. I am extremely disappointed that I was treated this way. Dropping a patient when he was diagnosed of cancer and I didn’t have a physician with stage 3 (most advanced) terminal cancer was a frightful feeling. It is sad that she couldn’t handle a patient that has adverse reaction to a he chemotherapy and dropped me. To me this is the he most unprofessional behavior I have experienced. And OCSRI’s concern is to collect money, they will in the lobby raise their voice to track you down and they will come and stop you, for even a co pay of 35 dollars when you have consistently paid them. I do not recommend this center or the physicians here. I highly suggest that you look elsewhere, if you want the appropriate treatment for your cancer. Again this is being said by a Physician who was under care here at this establishment."
