"messed up my appointment and got the wrong prescription. they didnt tell me followups are only 30 days after. so i come in a couple months later because the problems didnt arrive until 2 months after with headaches and stuff. then they say they need 70$ for a new appointment."
"After arriving at our appointment, getting a quote for services through insurance, and starting our exam, my little got sick. We left and rescheduled for 5 days later. We arrived on the second visit and they couldn't find our coverage. 3 people were involved. Finally they agreed that we should start our exams and figure it out or comp it. We went through the exam just fine. After walking out of the exam I started looking for glasses. I didn't say a word to anyone, or even ask for help. The asst manager walks up and asks if she can help. I asked her to figure out what the cost of glasses would be through our insurance. She multiple times said she couldn't find our insurance coverage. I expressed that the other young lady found it, why can't she find it. She stuck with her answer. At no point did she said that she was still poking or that we could shop for glasses and they will find it. She said I can purchase glasses and if they find it they can refund the glasses and submit insurance. At this point I was pissed off. She asked for my insurance card again. I gave it to her and told her that this whole thing had been good to go a few days ago. They asked if I had changed insurance. Who in the hell changes insurance and gets coverage in a few days and doesn't disclose it? The absolute stupidity continued. I asked if they had my contact information, to which she said yes. I told her to figure it out and my wife will return and pick glasses for us. On my way towards the door she asked to confirm my contact information. Why on earth did you agree that you had my contact information and my insurance but wanted to check it. You should have said I believe I do but can I confirm it. While she stumbled over looking for it I walked out. I called my wife and explained the situation to her. I am not always the easiest person to deal with. I told her to call and get our prescription and we can decide later. They wouldn't give the prescription expect in person. I get that insurance isn't easy. I get that nobody has all the information, but the asst manager should at least have the experience and knowledge to find the person who can figure it out. I even suggested calling the young lady that set us up the last time. We have coverage, it is accepted here, and the glasses would have been covered. My wife tells me that she told them it was Davis vision three times and they never could figure it out. In the end it appears that the young lady that helped us was working nights. I'm guessing she walked in the door, told them what we had said five times, and it was settled. We will not be returning nor suggesting this incompetence to anyone else."
"Lazy, rude, clueless staff. This place is most expensive, inconvenient and incompetent. They seem to live in the dark ages. Be sure you order a refill of contacts 45 days out because that's how long you have to wait for a reorder and they won't call you to inform you when they arrive you have to keep calling them. I can't have them shipped to my house because they won't include a receipt and if you need a receipt for insurance or FSA you have to physically drive into their office to get it, they told me "we don't email receipts sorry you have to come in to get one" This place is a joke. I have been getting glasses and contacts my entire life and have never had to wait so long for contacts, or physically have to drive into an office to get a receipt. I don't know how any business can even function these days not knowing how to email a customer a receipt. The first time I asked- they did email me a receipt with no hassle every time after I have been told they don't do that and I have to physically go into their store in order to get a receipt. I told him that they have emailed me a receipt before so why won't you do it again and he puts me on hold for awhile gets back on to say the same thing. I don't believe they "can't" email the receipt I think this was laziness or lack of training which is clearly a problem at that store. Each time I have placed orders or called to see if my order is in they act put out, like it's a bother to answer any questions and I've continually been provided with inconsistent or incorrect information. I was told I would get a text notification and a call when my order came into their store and this has not happened on any orders I've placed. So plan on calling them repeatedly to find out if your order has arrived. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere. Highly recommend not going to this place. It's been a bad experience every time. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, I took both my son's here did both eye exams, bought glasses and contacts had to take our prescription elsewhere for one of my son's glasses they didn't have frames displayed nor did they honor the advertised price. I've done re orders at least 3x each son and everytime it has just been worse. So not an isolated incident. Whoever is responding to these reviews it doesn't appear "contacting corporate" has done much to address all the problems at this same store."
"Wish I could give zero stars to this place Worst experience ever! Where do I start let’s start with the 1st of 4 times into the location 1st staff is rude and acts so put out by questions So I came in to get glasses for my little girl they didn’t bother helping find lenses that fit so I did our best. I had asked about antiscratch lense since the glasses were for a small child the lady ensured me oh doing the deal for 2 pairs and for kids lenses they have the antiscratch I then asked about warranty for broken glasses they said as long as you have a small piece that we can see it’s the glasses we replace them no questions asked! Fast forward Glasses come in we go to pick them up again staff is so rude n unfriendly the frames we had picked all on own with no help ended up being to big n not working after trying to shape them so we exchanged one pair and the other pair the girl said try them and within 30 days you can exchange them. So her we are less then 30 days since i picked them up and went to return them and the other pair that the lense has damage and they said oh sorry you have no warranty and it’s been over 30 days since the day you purchased them to exchange so they seriously count the time your waiting without lenses ridiculous. Then they try saying I can rebuy glasses when it’s barely been 30 day so I spent almost $200 dollars and now can’t even use the glasses for my child. I will never use this company again and I will post all over every place i can to make sure no one else is scammed by the horrible company!!! They lie to you and have zero sense of customer service what a joke"
"My wife and I came in to get a pair of glasses, they ordered in a pair of glasses that were a color that they normally don’t stock. When the glasses arrived, my wife tried them on and loved them. As we were being rung up she said she would not be able to sell them to us for the price on the frames, and that we would need to talk to the manager the next day. We talked to the staff the next day and the narrative was still the same. They would not be able to match the price tag on the glasses, which was around $60 different. It felt a little dishonest, since the exact same pair of glasses in a different color were on the rack and were even cheaper."
