"Labor and delivery team took excellent care of us! Very helpful and understanding. Mom/baby unit were also fabulous! Made sure my baby and I were healthy, safe, and taken care of. Friendly, kind, helpful staff. Would recommend to friend. Would come here again!"
"Worst experience I’ve ever had, I dropped off some labs at this locations because at the time it worked for me. After waiting a few weeks for my results, I spent last week trying to find out what they were. After having no luck, I spend a few hours this morning calling, getting transferred all over the place, and after getting “disconnected” for the 8th time and after having been on hold for 45 minutes, I got fed up, took time off work and made the hour drive to this location, since I don’t live close to this one. I’ll admit I was annoyed by this point and so when I finally get there, I’m not being nice but I’m also not being mean. I’m not yelling, or threatening anyone beyond “I’ve got a bone to pick with your labs”, I did raise my voice a little but I was doing my best to remain calm. She asked me to take a seat and “someone will take you over there soon”. She then called a code green and I just had to sit there as more than 20 people showed up to deal with me. It was wonderful as I sat there watching more people show up, watching as everyone in the area were whispering and pointing at me, I have never been so embarrassed. Then I was escorted by two security guards, one was calm, collected and tried to deescalate the situation and the other one made me feel like he was just looking for an excuse to hurt me. While we were waiting the manager of labs showed up and was able to help me. For the first time since this started I was treated with respect and not like an animal. In a matter of minutes he found out that the lab got my sample but there was an issue with it and the American fork hospital was supposed to contract me weeks ago about it. I’m so glad I sacrificed hours of work, to be treated like I was a crazy dangerous person and to find out that it was your hospital who messed up. I’m not even sure I’ll come back to get my labs re-done, I can go to any hospital in the world and get disrespected like this."
"I came into the ER with a rash down my whole right leg and in both hands. My feet we're cold as if they were not getting blood. My hands swollen, huge. My heart rate was severely higher than normal and breathing was painful. Unfortunately I got Doc Miller. He didn't look at my rash, never checked my breathing, and basically told me from the moment he walked in it was anxiety. He didn't look at my horrid rash and took only the most basic blood panels. It ended, of course, with him suggesting it was anxiety (in my head). I would suggest he find a new profession. If you're unfortunate enough to get doc Miller, demand someone new or go to another hospital."
"I had a great experience in labor and delivery! I gave birth to my first baby last week and they made feel welcomed and safe. I went in for an induction and everything was set up and made me feel comfortable. It made me so excited to have my own room. My epidural was AMAZING! The pain was literally nothing. All my nurses were so kind and took care of me. They encouraged me to keep trying and going. I felt like I had a great support system. I felt very safe and comfortable delivering in this hospital!"
"I had an exceptional experience at American Fork Hospital for my surgery( double mastectomy). The hospital itself is not only clean and well-maintained, but it also offers stunning views that helped create a calming atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly knowledgeable and competent, and their excellent bedside manners made me feel comfortable and cared for. The anesthesiologist was particularly outstanding. He took the time to talk to me and ensure that I was feeling okay before the surgery. His friendly nature made me feel at ease, and I was surprised at how quickly he put me to sleep before surgery. The level of care I received from the entire team was outstanding. I must mention the night nurse, Jake, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional care. He was so quiet and gentle that I didn't even wake up when he checked on me and changed my IV. His dedication and attentiveness were truly remarkable. I would also like to express my gratitude towards Dr. Tittensor, Dr. Jensen, and their entire team. They are truly amazing in their respective fields, and I have full confidence in their abilities. Also very thankful for taking care of me , nurse Mara , Jordyn , Kristina , and I believe it was Veronica. Food is also great , felt like I’m in restaurant. Based on my wonderful experience, I have already scheduled my final surgery at American Fork Hospital in January. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone seeking expert care in a friendly and comfortable environment."
