"This location has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Very rude and unprofessional staff. Can’t keep appointments, but won’t let you change the ones you have. Being extremely rude to clients who are in medical crisis. THIS IS NOT OKAY."
"I saw Lanice Hollingsworth and she was terrible. My prior therapist here was great. She really helped me and I always felt positive after our appointments. In general my experience with WBH has been pretty good for the most part. My experience with Lanice was horrible however. I was refered to her to work on my trauma through EMDR. Our first appointment she started to push going to church on me even though I am not religious and have had traumatic experiences with the LDS church. She frequently made hurtful comments and seemed to be judging things I said, which made me feel uncomfortable opening up to her. On one occasion she said I functioned like a 5 year old. If I brought up a traumatic experience she would instantly jump to pushing me to do emdr during that appointment without first making sure I was mentally prepared for it, or teaching me any coping skills to help me regulate my anxiety. Our final appointment was terrible. I hadn't seen her in a few months due to scheduling conflicts on both our parts. When I came in for our appointment she had her foot resting on the couch next to me, and asked how my recent vacation was. I told her it was good but brought up something that was bothering me. Again she jumped right into trying to do emdr and I told her I was uncomfortable with that. I could tell that made her angry and she told me if I wasn't going to do EMDR then she couldn't see me as a client anymore. I was fine with that and told her I didn't think EMDR was the right kind of therapy for me and that I didn't want to waste either of our time, and that I thought I needed ERP therapy for my OCD instead. She then went into a rant about how "great" of a therapist she was, and that she had just came back from Alaska where she did some training or conference and had done training with the Alpine School district. She also told me not to "waste my money" on another therapist. She then referred me to do DBT group therapy in provo, knowing I was unable to go all the way to provo due to not having a baby sitter at that time which I told her. I left that appointment in tears. Her final email to me reads as follows. "You are more than welcome to return to individual therapy at anytime. When you feel you are ready to take part and participate, let me know. I would be happy to make arrangements for you - with me or with someone else." This after telling me not to waste my money on another therapist. I was reluctant to leave this review but the fact I'm still thinking about it 2 years later shows how awful and traumatic my experience with her was. I personally not recommend her specifically."
"I was very hesitant to come here based on the reviews but it was the only place my insurance would cover, and I needed help so I gave it shot. I was honestly surprised how well I was treated and how kind and patient the staff are. I’ve worked with two of the therapists so far and both of them have been amazing. Things are very confusing at first due to the intake process, but they really try their best to make things go as smoothly as possible. I personally recommend this place and I’ve been very pleased with my experience."
"I have had nothing but good experiences at this place. Amanda the receptionist is amazing, knows who I am before I even say because she recognizes my voice. Marci Lidtke is an awesome as a prescriber and I would totally recommend her, along with April Knight and Janice Byer as therapists are great too! I've never had a bad experience at Wasatch. Thank you ALL staff. Oh and I about forgot therapist Sam too is awesome!"
"I attended this clinic, more On than off for over 9 years, most of the therapist where Amazing, front desk great at reminding you your scheduled appointments. I was very happy and I attended for 3 years in a row the Family Workshop. Until the stepmom talked to my kids therapist without my consent! it was great. I'll always love Kelli and Sandy!"
