"I would sincerely not recommend going to this office based on my experience. I can't speak for any other doctors in this office but I am genuinely shocked by how unhelpful and apathetic Justin Hewlett was. I have been working with a doctor somewhere else who diagnosed me with Adrenal Fatigue and I came here looking for more answers because of worsening symptoms. I showed Justin Hewlett my lab results from less than a year ago which were extremely bad and showed him a list of all my symptoms. Right away, he couldn't get the wifi on his laptop to work for quite some time, (even though the front office didn't seem to have a problem with their wifi) and he ended up writing some things down on a piece of scrap paper that I'm sure he did nothing with because the next time I came he knew nothing about my situation. All he did was order way too many labs very haphazardly. When I went to the lab I generally go to, in order to get a cortisol testing kit, they said that labs don't usually carry cortisol kits cause they're not used often and they had to order one in, which took a while. I found out later that he could have given me a cortisol kit before I left the appointment but he didn't bother even offering which I thought was pretty careless. When I came back for my second appointment with him to go over my lab results, I had to have my mom drive me up, I could barely walk or talk my symptoms had become so severe. His demeanor was so nonchalant even though I was very obviously in a lot of pain. He kept shrugging throughout the appointment and telling me that my labs came back normal and there was nothing he could do for me and all he suggested (because I kept telling him I was not doing okay and my labs didn't add up to my symptoms) was that I could check myself into the ER... I literally had to beg "I really need help." because of how apathetic he was being and still, he just shrugged with no suggestions on where to go from here or specialists I could turn to. He genuinely acted put out that I was even asking questions and that I was in pain which was extremely upsetting. One lab result came back low and he wasn't even planning on discussing it with me and I had to really press to get any information or answers to my questions. He actually had to google right in front of me what the result that came back low meant because he didn't know... He genuinely could have just emailed me my lab results instead of making us drive all the way up to American Fork to have him tell me, "Well, all your lab results came back perfect, looks like you're fine." Truly my worst nightmare. He also was rude when I told him I was previously diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue and he said it's not a real diagnosis. So he denounces my diagnosis and then doesn't even try to help find a new one. Wow. I sincerely hope anyone struggling with endocrine or other mysterious health issues gets the help they need because I can guarantee you, you won't find that help with Justin Hewlett and I sincerely hope he doesn't traumatize anyone else.
