"Dr. McMillan is knowledgeable and friendly. He and his staff are easy to talk to. Some of the paperwork and questions are redundant, but what Dr. Office isn't. I made my appointment with Jen. She listened to my concerns and gave me sound feedback. Jen got me in the same day I called. Dr. McMillan is knowledgeable on the subject and he explains information in a way that is understandable. The facility is clean, tidy and smells nice. TMJ Therapy inc uses state of the art medical equipment. My appointment was to the point and I was out of there in a timely manor."

"Being a new patient I was a bit intimidated. Once I showed up at the office they were great. Calmed my worries. My husband came a bit late to the appointment to join me. The doctor sat down with him and explained what was happening and talked to him about a plan to help me. I thought that was very thoughtful. It helped my husband know what was happening and so he can help me with my care. The office is personable and comfortable. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and kind. "Please DO NOT go here. This is the first review I have ever written but my experience was so horrible, I hope to save others from wasting time and money here. First off their treatment plan is one size fits all. I was not even given an examination by Dr. Carl McMillan during my consultation before he showed me generic videos of the TMJ and promised me I'd be better within 3-6 months for $4000. I was desperate so I foolishly agreed. The orthotic I was fitted with was nothing like the one I was shown during the consultation and it was painful to wear not to mention he once shaved the device down while it was in my mouth. I saw some improvement 2 weeks into treatment then nothing. I stopped seeing or feeling any improvement which I voiced, but I was reassured my measurements were improving. Towards the end of my treatment I once again voiced my frustrations of not seeing any improvement but was told a story of another client, implying that my pain was in my head and my measurements show improvement. I later requested my medical notes and I had little to no change in my measurements since my 2 week appointment. I have since seen an actual TMJ specialist who has helped me a lot and given me a unique treatment. Unfortunately my jaw has gotten to the point I am now having to have surgery. But the pain is in my head, right? Save yourself the pain and money and do not go here."
