"Dr. Mortensen is a joke of a doctor, I recently had an mri done of my left shoulder that shows I have a full thickness tear of my left rotator cuff yet he claims just because of my age I shouldn't have any problems with my shoulder and that nothing is there when even the mri tech who analyzed the images said there is a full thickness tear. Then just because I have the markers for ankylosing spondylitis he can't seem to get off his soap box when I along with a rheumatologist both say I don't have it. Then doctor jues (or however you spell his last name) said he wouldn't fix my flat feet just cause in his opinion it wouldn't fix anything. Yet I had one foot done by a different doctor outside of Intermountain facilities and I've noticed a decrease in my low back pain that I decided to get the other one done. What is wrong with Intermountain doctors that they can't even listen to the patient or stop letting their personal feelings get in the way of providing quality care?"
"Dr. Shelton has changed my quality of life through hip replacement surgery. I struggled hourly with pain that hindered what I could do, how far I could walk, how well I slept. He listened to me and has a very caring demeanor. He made me feel comfortable and helped me understand what was wrong and what needed to be done. During my post op visits he has explained things so that I understand and has helped me feel confident in making the best decision for me. I will be having my other hip replaced in a few months and am looking forward to the relief it will bring especially after this first experience. I am grateful I was referred to Dr. Shelton and will recommend him to anyone that I know needing the same help."
"Dr. Shelton was amazing! He took all of my concerns and questions seriously and really helped me. He is very skilled and the team he works with is amazing too!"
"I was left waiting for 45 minutes past my appointment for a post op visit. Once I asked what the delay was they got me right back as if they had just forgotten. I waited an additional 25 minutes for the PA to come see me. I could hear him outside the door wasting time talking to someone about Hawaii while I was late to a work meeting. Not impressed at all. It was also not communicated that my last post op would not be covered by the surgery fee."
"The doctor was fine, but the women at the front desk were unhelpful and rude. This clinic uses a company called National DME for their medical equipment. That company is a scam, and the clinic knows it. They overcharge for equipment and threaten to send to collections after 30 days. I will never go back to this clinic because of their use of National DME. They are complicit with very predatory business practices."
