Reviews of Blue Rock Medical Center
"Very helpful staff. Everything seems great so far."
"Blue Rock Medical is very conveniently located and friendly to new patients. Dr. Conrad Gibby helped me with an acute and urgent need. I was grateful for his help. I would have appreciated more conversation with him personally."
"I have suffered from tailbone pain for years. I could barely sit through an hour meeting or a car drive. I have finally found the answer to my tailbone pain with a lower spinal block. I am so grateful for this relief because my job requires a lot of sitting and I have to commute. I highly recommend Blue Rock Medical. They accepted my insurance and made sure it was pre-approved. They are patient, kind and very professional. They answered all my questions and concerns about the procedure. I recommend them without reservation. Don’t put up with unwanted pain for one more day!"
"I was told by the doctor to schedule physical therapy in order to get a referral for it. I called PT offices and was given the run around for price quotes and scheduling for different reasons. After 9 phone calls and gaslighting, they said I need a doctor referral to have any quote or scheduling. I called the doctor's office back and explained. They said I need another evaluation to get a referral now, because I need to be an existing patient, despite me already being seen there, billed, and recommended for physical therapy as a course of treatment. They just blankly stare at you and are devoid of sympathy. No bedside manner and no objective to treat. What a confusing mess. It is awful I am required to give a minimum of 1 star because of how my anxiety was escalated with questions not pertaining to my health. I have been pleading to have my symptoms and condition formally recognized so I can get the treatment I need, and coming here was a mistake. The doctor wasn't very sympathetic and did not help me get me the treatment he recommended. The office staff told me it wouldn't be necessary to come back physically for a referral. I did as I was instructed and still can't get the recommended treatment? I have been struggling financially and just want to get back to working the way I used to. I need treatment and that is contingent on 1) evaluation, 2) being capable of paying for it, and 3) doctor recommendation. Because, sadly, our hospitals are for profit and if you have no money then you can be denied Healthcare. I am financially, emotionally, and physically distressed. I'm going to become homeless and still in pain very soon unless I can get treatment. Bizarre world. Why work and pay taxes when I can't even afford rent and Healthcare because I can't get my pain treated? I'm in pain. I hurt. I believe in science and robust evaluation and kindness of people who want to help. Is all of that too much to ask for? The next doctor I saw at another clinic was kind and asked questions only relevant to my health, gave me direction based on my symptoms, and encouraged me to treat my symptoms in a way that made me feel like I deserved access to proper care."
"Worst experience in radiology I've ever had. Please do not go for a CT scan. It is hard to describe such a horrific experience but I'm going to do my best. I went in for a head and neck angiogram. The technician put me into the machine yet couldn't get it to turn/circle the way a CT machine is supposed to. He asked the radiologist to come and help. THEY LITERALLY JUMP-STARTED THE MACHINE WITH ME IN IT. I was scared to death. When I asked to be removed from the circle part of the machine I was told no, that I was already positioned and that it was safe. When I asked who to report this to I was told I guess I need to contact the state of Utah myself from the billing department. Don't get a CT scan there. You've been warned"
