"This week I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy procedure at Lakeview Endoscopy. Dr. Ray Moore has been my doctor for these procedures over the past 15 years. He has proven to be an excellent doctor. Three years ago, he found a abnormal growth, hidden right at the opening of the top of my stomach. My surgeon who removed it said it was a "nice catch" and most Drs. would have missed it. Good catch Ray. The team at the center are professional and amazing. I have had the same nurse, Paula, for the past two procedures, three years ago and then this week. I like being the first patient of the day at 7AM and she is always so happy and positive. I comment each time I see her, my sister's name is also Paula and ask her how she can be always be so positive, esp. so early in the morning. We joked about the misery of the colon prep and she puts you right at ease. The nurse anesthetist is very professional and reassuring. I always crack the exact same joke when I get wheeled into the procedure suite, that it looks like an automotive garage with all the hoses hanging from the ceiling, they are kind enough to laugh and joke with me, even though they have heard the same joke, like a million times. Lakeview Endoscopy Center is the best. Professional, efficient, and caring. Thanks for making the whole experience a good one."
"I had a colonoscopy last week and was very happy with the support staff and Dr. Moore. Everything went smoothly. (No pun intended!) The prep was much better than the ones I had done in the past and I won't be so apprehensive to have another one in the future."
"I had a colonscopy scheduled with Dr. Moore. The night before, at 7:30 I received a call to let me know that Dr. Moore had contracted Covid. I was halfway through my prep and was expecting them to tell me I would have to reschedule. Instead the person calling said that Dr. Doxey had agreed to take Dr. Moore's scheduled appointments. I was so relieved as the prep is no fun! Everyone was professional at the Center and friendly. I have had a lot of medical procedures over the past 10 years and they usually have a hard time finding a vein to start an IV. The nurse who started my IV found the vein on first try. Dr. Doxey was very good at explaining everthing that was going to happen, setting me at ease as did the Anesthesiologist. I was able to get in an hour before my originally scheduled appointment which was also great as I have a very difficult time going without eating. After the prodedure Dr. Doxey came in to tell me he had found 7 polyps and removed them all. One was large and very could have become cancerous over the next few years. It made all the prep worth it. I am 72 and was very reluctant to have this procedure thinking I was too old. I was shocked that there aren't more reviews because they very clearly earned a solid 5 star review. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a colonscopy."
"I was very happy with my treatment and the staff. The procedure went well and for that, I have no complaints. What I have found frustrating is the shotgun-style billing process. I got a warning that “each department will bill separately” but I wasn’t expecting literally 4-6 bills of wildly different amounts to arrive in the coming weeks. I don’t see why these bills can’t be consolidated into one single, easy-to-understand bill for the customer. I’m not quite sure what specifically the bills are for that I’m getting but they have “Lakeview Endoscopy Center” at the top so I’m just forced to blindly pay them, I guess. This is probably just indicative of the state of healthcare in the US but change has to start somewhere. A little effort to consolidate the billing process would be very much appreciated."
