"A doctor we know warned us about Utah Cancer Specialists in Murray when I was first diagnosed, telling us that they run their center as a factory, where all patients are on an assembly line, with a "one size fits all approach." We felt like a statistic, a number, and were not treated well--especially when adverse reactions set it. There was zero follow up when something happened, and we were left to figure out what to do by ourselves. They show patients a video during their first visits, that portrays this kind, compassionate atmosphere, telling patients there's no need to suffer, that if you have nasty side effects, you can call in any time and there's something to help everyone. We didn't get that--at all. When we did call in, we were either told "there's nothing we can do," or "we've never heard of that before." This, despite, numerous reports of such from more reputable cancer treatment centers nationwide--but these folks wouldn't so much as even look into it. We were assigned to one doctor who was the most patronizing, insensitive, uncaring physician we have ever met. He said things to us, that a physician should never say to patients. We didn't get that "personal, individualized care" that they claim they offer. We got the brush off, were left to deal with horrific episodes of pain and suffering--and we felt they simply didn't care. Coordination between doctors and assistants was a mess at times. It was a godless, hopeless environment being in that doctor's office. The nurses who administer the toxic chemicals were nice--but the doctor we got--should be fired. It's been a hellish experience being treated like a piece of biological tissue on a conveyor belt. We really felt mistreated, and that they really don't care."

He has always taken time with me to explain everything to make me feel more comfortable and answers all of my questions. I’m so grateful to have him as my oncologist and wouldn’t want anyone else to be in charge of my care. Amelia has also been so great. She’s so kind and takes time to help with any care I need. Darren was so fun and nice while I was getting my chemo treatments. He made the time go by fast and made it easy to go through. He always made us laugh and that was so refreshing and nice. The whole medical oncology team has been so great. Every person there is so nice and welcoming. It’s been a blessing having such a great team take such good care of me."

Great and caring staff--both professional yet personal and empathetic for each patient and needs. Has multiple locations, but all clinics are closely connected with each other. This location--in its own two-story building behind Jordan Valley hospital campus--has ready access to highly sophisticated scans and radiology via the hospital, so it's very convenient for scheduling imaging and other tests and quickly getting test results. Life-centered and life-giving."
