"So, Dr. K is a great surgeon and really knows his stuff, the operations of his office are patient focused at all, and overall lead to a terrible experience. The first time I came in for my appointment, I was told I wasn’t early enough and they made me reschedule. While I was there, I filled out my paperwork, not a single patient left and no one was in the waiting room. The front desk staff still refused to let me keep my appointment. When it came time to fill out my leave paperwork, for all the work I was going to miss for my surgery, they demanded payment even though my provider covers the cost. I attempted to make a payment and they told me they only take checks, it’s 2023, what even is a check anymore. The support staff is not friendly, empathetic or compassionate, all the things you need when you can’t even walk because of pain. As much as I want to continue future treatment here, I will choose a provider that’s easier to work with. It’s so unfortunate."

"Dr. Khachatryan gave me my life back! I have been training Martial arts for about 14 years. (14 in karate, and the last 4 in jiu jitsu). My fiancé also trains martial arts. Along with my dad. So it’s a major part of my life. Oh, i also own a karate school. So let’s be honest, martial arts is my whole life lol Anyway, I originally hurt my back in 2020 (herniated my L5S1) For a solid few weeks, i couldn’t even walk. The pain was terrible. Physical therapy and shots helped get me to a certain point, but it only took me so far. I was constantly in pain. Lower back pain, and pain that was always shooting down both of my legs. I was able to get back to training, but that was once a week, if i was lucky. (I use to train 4-5 days a week). A little while later, i then herniated 2 discs in my neck. Ugh. That caused constant pain in my neck, shoulder blades, down my left arm and into my hand. My grip had weakened, and I was constantly dropping things. The pain I was CONSTANTLY in, was absolutely terrible. I didn’t know what to do, and I knew there was no way I was going to continue to live like this. Someone told me to go check out Dr. K, and I am so incredibly grateful I did! He performed two surgeries on me. One was a microdisectimy for my lower back, and the other was 2 ADR (artificial disc replacement) in my neck. I am so incredibly happy to report that I am about 98% pain free!! My lower back still gets tight sometimes, but I NO LONGER have ANY pain shooting down my legs!! My neck gets a little tight sometimes IF i grapple hard, or sleep wrong. That’s it! I don’t have any pain in my shoulder blades, none in my arms, i can look left and right, up and down! Oh and I’m back to training 4-5 times a week! My quality of life has GREATLY improved because of him! I cannot recommend Dr. K enough. He is absolutely amazing. I owe him my life! Go see him!"

"Terrible patient experience. I had an appointment that was scheduled weeks in advance for debilitating back pain following childbirth, referred by my OB. When I arrived at the scheduled time for my appointment, they said they cancelled it because they had called and left me a message the day before that said I needed to be there a half an hour early to fill out paperwork. I never received a message. After taking the day off work and rearranging my infant's feeding schedule to make the appointment, they won't even see me. Maybe schedule appointments for the time you actually want your patient to show up, instead of leaving last minute messages that may or may not actually be received."

"I hate to revise my original 5 stars for this business. Unfortunately, my surgery that was done last November had failed. It was redone on an emergency basis at the end of February just days before I was moving out of state. Since my move, and basically in the past 2-3 weeks it has been absolutely impossible to get any response from this office! I missed a call last week. Immediately called back and was advised by the front desk to “listen to the voicemail Mary left” I still have not received voicemail from anyone in the office. The last voice mail received was from Matt ( who along with Jeff is great) but it did not address my concerns. Anyway, I left a voicemail for Mary to please return my call and still have yet to hear back. This isn’t just a general call. It’s possible that I have a broken screw! This is serious!!! I have seen 2 surgeons where I am located in Iowa and also in Iowa City and they refuse to touch me with the history of the surgeries since November. I am disgusted at the treatment or lack of that I am getting."

"EVERYONE IS SO AMAZING HERE!!!!!! Special shout out to Lindsay and Dr. K. Lindsay worked overtime to make sure my wife was taken care of!!! She got our surgery authorized so fast and hopefully we will be headed to some pain relief soon!!!!!!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE WHO TAKES SUCH GOOD CARE OF US!!!!!"
