"We accidentally showed up to our recent appointment an hour late as I got the times confused. The front lady was more than welcoming and understanding as she checked to see if we could still be seen. They said we could. Yay! I have always found Dr. Gilbert to be kind, knowledgeable, understanding and patient. This visit did not disappoint. Dr. Gilbert listened attentively as my teen explained why we were there and then sat and brainstormed several scenarios with us. My teen and I had many questions and Dr. Gilbert listened attentively and offered multiple possible solutions. We left knowing we had been listened to and heard and had more hope for the future. I recommend Dr. Gilbert wholeheartedly."

"I love South valley ear nose and throat in West Jordan! The office is always clean and calm and the staff is very polite. I have gone to Dr Gilbert for over a decade and he is one of the most kind and patient practitioners I have ever been to. He always listens to my concerns and takes extra care to explain everything he is doing and why. He always gives me great care and treatment options. I have never had a long wait at the office either. Things run smoothly and efficiently."

"I honestly have not been very impressed by my experience with this office. I got my tonsils out the same day my brother did. Both of our procedures were done by Dr. Anderson. When I first went in Dr. Anderson was in my room for maybe 5 minutes, he only looked at my throat. Not my ears or my nose and then he immediately started going over surgery option. That was fine due to the fact I knew I wanted to get my tonsils out, but I would’ve liked for him to check everything because I came in to have a consultation on my ears, nose, and throat. It has been hard to reach his nurse from the beginning with any questions I have had. I would try to call their office at different hours of the day and they never seem to answer their phones. I have a strict job so I am not able to have my phone on me so when they would call me and leave a voicemail, I would call them back five minutes after and they would not answer. The surgery went great and I really appreciate that! After the surgery I was in a ton of pain, a lot more than my brother was. He is younger than me and they prescribed us the same dosage of pain pills, I work in the medical field and this just seems out of the norm. I let them know how much pain I was in and that the pills were not working at all they said this was normal. My brother is still a minor so they called our mom the day after his surgery and three days after to check on him and see how he was doing, but I never got one call to check on me. I have tried to call them with a question about aftercare but they don’t answer their phone. I feel like overall this office could have a little better customer service."
