"Very disappointed. It was our first appt with rehab center, feeding therapy. First two Laura and Emma for ot and pt, I would give them 5 stars hands down. We were 10 min late, quiet lobby, Weston came out smiling and didn't acknowledge us, talked to reception to reschedule for tomorrow. I'm sure like many kids, he is hard to handle and has a long list of threatening conditions but being on time can be close to impossible some days and was so confused why we couldn't just try for a good 30 min if anything. Very disappointed. We do all we can for him and he saw home therapy 3 times a week and on top of 7 specialists regularly. I'm sorry we were late and I know there are a lot of kids needing this but this is our real life. We aren't just a name on a paper and we don't come late on purpose. A quick intro and what to expect next time or something would have been nice. I called in advance and no one answered. I left a voicemail and they said they hadn't checked their messages yet. I made sure to call prior to the start of the appointment that we were coming and if they had answered, I could have not fought my child into the car and now in rush hour with him screaming 20 plus minutes home because he does not too well in the car. So far I'm sad for the transition but glad Emma and Laura were very accommodating, they said just to let them know and they will squeeze in even 20 minutes if we can. Thank you for your understanding. I hope this was a bad first impression and things improve :("

"First, they have fraudulent billing practices. They promise if you pay upfront, they will give you a discount and then not billing insurance or require any more payment. But that is a lie, as we experienced at least 2 additional insurance billings and personal charges. Then they try to claim that you paid before the service occurred. Second, the occupational therapist is poor. The therapy consisted mostly of clip-art handouts, playing board games, and running around a glorified indoor playground with no serious ability or instruction on how to apply skills at home. Overall, a poor value with a poor billing staff. Do not recommend at all."

"I'm not sure yet. Had our assessment and I felt misunderstood and not a lot of desire to understand... as if she's heard all this same stuff before.. but we'll have our little guys first OT session on the 6th... that will probably reveal a little more. So I will follow up. Update ~~ This has been over a year ago now, but after only two or three sessions, I could already see a difference in my son's behavior and how he experienced things... I learned SOOO MUCH about sensory processing disorder. Knowing how it works and about what goes on in the the brain and that kind of stuff, really helped me understand and recognize what was going on inside when my son would have an "episode"... that before OT I was absolutely lost ... This new understanding was so powerful and tru,i7 pi ly made a world of difference!!!! We learned how to help him cope, how to cope ourselves, as a family. We could plan things and prepare accordingly, rather than avoid basically any and all things all together, the way we had for so long. Like I said at the first of my updated review it's been over a year ago since he have his final occupational therapy session and we still carry these tools and skills and knowledge and things that have changed his life, our lives, improved his quality of life, honestly the quality of life for our entire family has improved... Like I said before, we used to avoid just about everything, to avoid having to "deal with" an outburst or an episode that was unmanageable, etc. etc. it's like we were avoiding life because we were afraid of our 3 1/2 year old son. Looking back now, I can not even believe we ever functioned like that... Now, there is nothing we avoid... We limit our investment in things of little importance, like taking all 4 kids to see a movie in a theater, but that's because, well, that's 4 kids, a movie theater and just a bad idea, not because we're afraid... The only reason I didn't give four stars was that when his therapist would send us home with activities to try and things like, that I would let her know were not helping, she would simply suggest continuing to try them rather than help us find a way to modify the skill, or discuss new or different solutions.. however this helped us learn our own skills and tricks that did and do work, and these are what have stuck with us the most, so for that, I am grateful."

"The office staff had caused us incredible amounts of grief due to their inability to handle insurance issues. They’re also understaffed on the therapist end."

"Very unprofessional and extremely rude. The secretaries don't know how to do their jobs. Primary Children's Hospital's slogan is "the child first and awlay," but not at this clinic. Coming here is a waste of time. It's better to go to Shriners for rehabilitation."
