"Absolutely terrible billing services. We were customers for years and had to switch to Tanner. Billing was never accurate, they sent us to collections in 30 days and never send us statements even though we called and requested them. They claimed our mailing service wasn’t giving them to us, but could never tell me when statements were sent out. They pocketed our money from our HSA but claimed we never paid. My insurance company had to reach out and work with them directly to track down the money and take it all back. Horrific experiences and they have zero compassion."
"If you value your credit don't go to ogden clinic. I share a similar problem as other reviewers. That is that ogden clinic will send you to collections before health insurance has even had a chance to pay their portion of services rendered. They are currently using a debt collection service called Primus law. I never received a letter or phone call from ogden clinic stating I needed to pay a balance or it would go to collections. This Primus law collection agency they use, uses dishonest tactics to get default judgments against you without your knowledge. I never received any court paperwork from their collection agency. Now I recently found out I have a court judgment against me for $150 dollars! Who takes someone to court over $150 and now they multiply it by 10!? The debt collection agency they use covertly files paperwork with the court to get judgments against you without your knowledge, its against the law, but there doing it. As ridiculous as that sounds if I would have known about it I would have payed it. I'll be looking for services elseward."
"I will NEVER patronize Ogden Clinic for my medical needs again. I previously posted a flattering 5-star review for a visit that I and my 2 adult daughters had made to Anna Jones, FNP-C at Specialty Center at Mckay. We were pleased with the separate interactions we had with Dr. Jones on 3/23/2023 & 3/28/2023. We are CASH patients, which you would think would make the process smoother & more streamlined? When I called to make the appointments for a yearly exam with Dr. Jones, I was quoted $150 for the daughter who had just turned 18 & $198 for myself & the 25 y.o. daughter. They required me to pay half right then when scheduling the appointment & let me know that the remainder would be due at the time of the visit. After the visits (where I paid $163 for myself, $150 for the 18 y.o., $170 for the 25 y.o.), I was sent a statement showing a remaining balance for both myself & the 25 y.o. I was quoted $198 and charged $715, ($461 + $254 in labs) which is $517 of unexpected additional charges. My daughter was quoted $198 and charged $635, ($381 + $254 in labs) which is $437 of additional charges. Being charged with $954 more in charges than anticipated, I was obviously concerned. I called Ogden Clinic’s billing department & spoke to Heather on 6/13. She said that she could see that I had been billed for an office visit & a preventative exam, on top of the pap screen, but didn’t understand why. Heather told me that she would investigate the situation, then call me back when she found out some answers. I NEVER HEARD FROM HEATHER. I called AGAIN on 7/25 and spoke to Lora. She said she could see in the notes that Heather was supposed to send it for a “coding review” and call me back, but didn’t. Lora assured me that she would look into it & also my daughter’s account, as I had received a collection notice for hers & call me back w/answers. I NEVER HEARD FROM LORA. I called again on 9/21 & spoke to Michelle. Michelle said there shouldn’t be a “coding review”, as we are cash patients. She assured me that she had sent my case to “Escalations” & guaranteed me a return phone call from a supervisor WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS. I NEVER HEARD FROM MICHELLE OR ANY SUPERVISOR, as I was promised. I called AGAIN on 10/24 & spoke with Jamie to let her know that not only had I never heard from anyone, I had received a COLLECTION notice from Clear Management Solutions. I also NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE in regards to my daughter’s account, until the COLLECTION notice for hers, WITH AN ADDITIONAL $63.50 IN FEES + $0.35 INTEREST. Jamie could do nothing to assist me with the situation & offered no answers. The part where I paid almost 3 TIMES THE EXPECTED AMOUNT (Quoted $550, Charged $1,452.84) is absolutely ridiculous & unethical! The part where I was told multiple times by representatives that they would assist me, but never did, shows me that I don't matter to them. I pride myself on paying my bills in a timely fashion. My credit score is 826, EXCEPTIONAL. It’s BEYOND UNFAIR that Ogden Clinic can overcharge patients, fail to return multiple phone calls & then send me to collections over something I’m waiting for THEM to help me resolve!! And now I have no other recourse except to leave a negative review that will probably have little to no effect on their business. I was told by 3 separate employees that I would receive assistance & NEVER DID, but got sent to collections instead. I do NOT trust Ogden Clinic at this point & have no respect for how they conduct business! It’s deceitful, disrespectful & unethical. Take this review for what you will, but my family of 7 will NEVER do business with Ogden Clinic again! Let me guess: “You are sorry to hear about my experience & you will forward my comments onto your administrative staff”?!?"
"They send amounts to collection after ONE MONTH. I hadn’t even finished services with the doctor I was working with, I was waiting for insurance and the final bill but because it had been one month since my first visit they sent the bill over to collections, before my insurance had even sent me anything. I paid the full balance and was told I was good and then got the call from collections a few weeks later. They never even mentioned that they had sent a bill to collections. I’ve had the run around for months and now the collections is charging fees and interest on a balance I’ve already paid. Now I’m stuck with paying a bill I’ve already paid or hurting my credit. I’ll never use Ogden Clinic again."
"I never learn my lesson with them. I’ve had bad experience after bad experience. They always send bills I don’t see. This time when I got my bill finally (knowing I didn’t want to deal with problems with them again) I logged right in and sent up a payment plan. Fast forward 2-3 months and I get sent to collections. Obviously furious because I was paying the bill and I called to get clarity. And come to find out because THEY changed systems in the middle of me owing my bill they didn’t put 1/5 of my bill on my account so when I logged in to pay my amount I had NO CLUE there was more bill that wasn’t being taken care of. I somehow was magically supposed to know they changed their system and they didn’t tell me that when I logged in to set it up that it wasn’t my full amount. They didn’t add it to my full amount of my bill owed. So I got over 25% finance charge because I was just supposed to know I wasn’t paying the full amount. They weren’t apologetic at all. I have always had a bad taste in my mouth and do love my OB but I need to steer clear of them. If you are on the edge, run away!"
