"I have been using this company for my child for over a year now. Many, many UNPROFESSIONAL experiences. I won’t use specific names but it’s been a very unpleasant experience with Golden steps. The ONLY reason we stayed as long as we did is because of how extremely close myself and my child had become with his RBT. The ONLY consistent person within this company that we’ve ever personally worked with. You can never get anyone to answer the phone, Email you back in timely manner, Text you or honestly reach out to you in anyway. It takes weeks to get someone to respond to you. The turnover rate is absolutely ridiculous. They can’t keep BCBAs or RBTs at this clinic. I’ve dealt with several clinics since my child’s diagnosis, and this is been the worst experience. Like I said, had it not been for one of his RBT’s that was the absolute best, I would have left before we ever really got our foot in the door. One of the individuals that is higher up in the chain of things.. Sent other children’s files to me when she meant to send my child. First and foremost this is an extreme violation of HIPAA. She did call me and apologize about that but I let her know that had that been my child sent to another parent I would’ve been extremely livid. This happened on three different occasions. And scheduling is a damn nightmare! I highly recommend going anywhere else for your Aba services."

"This is for their in home services. Not for their newly opened clinic. I am editing my review because I was made aware that some of the things I wrote were not entirely accurate. I was informed that they do have the ability to approve some funds for materials for children that have lower incomes. Whether they do this often or not, I do not know. I was also informed that the company actually paid for my child's PECS cards to be printed and laminated which I had assumed his previous provider paid on his own. Moreover I was also informed that they do help parents of lower income households with some of their outings which is great. Whether this is proportional to the earnings the company makes, I do not know of course. It is really none of my business how this company allocates their earnings, but I will stand by my opinion that they should provide your RBTs with cellphones, a tablet or a laptop for them to write their notes since they have to use their own personal devices and get no reimbursement. While I did not appreciate the way this new information was brought to my attention I do appreciate their very professional response online and how they will take my review as helpful feedback. I would hate for a child not to receive services through this company because I have no complaints about their services so far. My son's RBT Will and Austin are awesome. We are so lucky to have them as his providers. We go on outings to fun places and they accompany us to his medical appointments. His RBTs are very flexible and they really do everything in their power to make my boy happy."

"Therapist are AWESOME the BCBA we had and the RBT were phenomenal but the 1 star review is for upper management and corp. they are highly unorganized and the RBT’s aren’t consistent which is a direct reflection of the ownership and directors. Find somewhere else."
