"Snowy winter days maybe not the best day to hike the living room trailhead. With the help of the extra lights, spikes, map download from Alltrails. We made it up, got our ducks in a row, and made it back down again. Just a little more frozen The fog completely covered the valley. Sometimes its fun to play in the clouds. For a while."
"Perfect after-dinner hike with a great view of the whole SL county. There are even some granite chairs to sit in at the top."
"Nice hike with great views at the top. Unless you have kids and/or dogs, I recommend doing the loop that comes out by the Natural History Museum instead of the out and back. On the way up, be prepared to take frequently breaks if you, like me, are from out of state and are not yet acclimated to the altitude. It took me exactly 2 hours included breaks."
"Pretty decent hike, nice elevation gain but most folks should be okay with pacing. Lots of families and traffic if the weather is nice. The view at the end makes it totally worth it."
"Bring your camera and go for sunrise! What a cool trail. Beware it is truly moderate, quite steep and gravel trail that is very narrow at parts. Overall a beautiful hour and a half hike! We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. The trek to the trailhead is not too far and street parking is ample and available near some corporate offices. Straight through the campus of UofU. 10/10!"
