"You can technically do this as an in and out or a loop. I did the loop and it was 2.8 miles. It was really fun, and the couch and reclining chairs in the living room are worth a sit."
"love this trail if i don’t have time to grab a canyon hike. short but steep enough for a some quick cardio. definitely prefer in during the winter since there is no shade. also tends to be super packed in the summer. usually slushy/icy in the beginning- i usually bring crampons"
"Views at the top are amazing. Trail isn’t well-marked and got lost a few times. Only found my way onto the right trail by using AllTrails. Decent cell service throughout most of the trail as well. No snow when I went this morning."
"This hike is one of my favorite ones. It has a great city view, and you can hike before sunrise or sunset. In the summertime, it will be scorching; there are not many shady areas."
"It’s pretty hot walking through the first half of the trail but once you start getting towards the top it feels amazing! The view of SLC is amazing and the breeze felt wonderful! I brought my pup and she loved it. There is a main trail but you can take different paths to get there and back if you don’t want to take the main trail."
