"Don’t waste your time going to see him if you haven’t gotten your COVID vaccine, he will try to shame you and scare you into the vaccine while pregnant!! Horrible experience!!!"
"Great dr. Took care of me near the end of my pregnancy when I had intrahepatic Cholestasis of pregnancy. Made sure I got NST weekly and made sure to tell my OB to take my baby early so no risk for stillborn. Highly recommend. Love his staff as well."
"Staff 1 out of 5 Dr.jones 2 out of 5 I was referred to Dr.Jones and my first cal to set up an appointment was on a Saturday. I tried to call back no answer. Then I called Monday during work, they were going to find an appointment time and I said let me check my schedule and then they hung up. Called back two times that day no answer. Called on Tuesday no answer. Called on Wednesday finally an answer, they told me they choose the following Monday as my appointment time. I then said we’ll I will have to ask off from my job, is there any other appointments? She then said hatefully that if I didn’t take this appointment I wouldn’t get in for months. I responded “but I won’t be pregnant in a few months?” She said “we’re really booked and I don’t do scheduling so there’s nothing I can do.” I then said “you can keep that appointment but I may just cal to cancel it anyway if I’m not able to make it.” Then she said thank you have a nice day and hung up. The same person then called back on 5 minutes later to tel me there were other available appointments on my days off, which I took. Dr.jones isn’t a bad person it is just that he’s not very tactful or caring. I being a first time mom, alone because of the visitor restrictions due to covid-19, while having a serious condition, he was blunt and making assumptions without listening. There were also times he didn’t read the full report before he spoke which caused him to give me inaccurate/ false alarm information that could’ve been avoided."
"LOVED Dr Jones. I’m certain he’s the only reason my twins survived our pregnancy; we had many issues and he was amazing. There was an ultrasound tech that was a total witch (Tammy-she BRUISED me during my first ultrasound and when I asked her why she was being so rough her response was, “first ultrasounds usually hurt.” Um, no. Not even a little bit truthful.) but I told them I would not tolerate her so they made sure someone else did the ultrasounds and every visit after that was amazing."
"One star is being overly generous, quite frankly. Due to advanced maternal age and insurance limitations, I was sent to this complete a**hat for additional support during my pregnancy. I saw him twice and answered the exact same questions, twice. I had untreated hypertension issues that he and his staff aggravated by being jerks. At my last visit, my blood pressure was up, and the nurse harassed me about it, which seemed counterproductive. I explained to her that my primary care physician was aware and monitoring it, that I had a home blood pressure cuff, and that my ob/gyn was also aware of it and monitoring it. She persisted, so I told her that coming to Dr. Jones' office was not helpful for my blood pressure, due to how he had treated me at my first visit. I told her that, being from Houston, I had gotten spoiled by doctors who have more impressive and extensive credentials than Dr. Jones, who would not dare to speak to a patient the way he had spoken to me. She went and told the doctor what I had said, which really didn't bother me, as it was the truth. So, later, in his office, after I answered the same questions from my first visit, a second time, I asked him if he had spoken to my ob/gyn. He actually responded "I speak with Dr. _______ every week...but not about your case." I seriously felt like I was in an alternate universe for a moment. Then, he imperiously informed me that I no longer needed to see him. I made no attempt to hide my elation from that news. After I left, his office informed my ob/gyn that I was discharged from his service because I was not following his advice. That was an outright lie, because he had never given me any advice to follow. My reward for putting up with this pompous donkey was ultrasound pictures of my beautiful rainbow baby and a call from my ob/gyn's nurse, who griped at me for being discharged by an incompetent, lying jerk who mistreated me. In my opinion, this man is not qualified to practice medicine on a cadaver, much less a pregnant woman. Further, the university(ies) that awarded him his medical degree(s), should have their medical program(s) audited. There are other doctors out there...ones that will actually read their patients' charts and make an attempt to relate to their patients."
