"Dr schlinke is fantastic ! He made sure my husband and I had what we needed to know during the pregnancy and when my delivery was stalled he gave me all the options available with no pressure any which way. He was thorough in the take home meds for me after my c-section so I would be able to take care of myself and new baby but also not be in pain. He was great to answer and listen to all my concerns and took my health and my babies health personally when my liver started at act up. Will absolutely keep using him!"

"Dr. Schlinke was my on-call OB. Without even speaking to me first about my situation, he pressured me toward a C section that I did not want. When I expressed concerns about recovery, and that I didn't take major surgery lightly, he actually said to me, "The recovery with a C section is comparable to a vaginal delivery." I continued to ask what about my situation, specifically, put me and my child at risk enough to warrant a C section and he COULD NOT ANSWER. Along with the nurses in the room, we paid extremely close attention to all critical numbers and I safely delivered my son vaginally--which many of the staff on floor were apparently amazed by under his care. He encouraged unnecessary interventions with EVERY encounter I had with him. I was hoping for a doctor I felt had my and my child's best interests at heard during labor and delivery, not someone who clearly wanted to move me along because the hospital was beyond capacity (I had to recover on a different floor). I strongly discourage working with him if you are interested in having your personal and individual health considered."

When I arrived at the hospital, all the nurses said things like “Dr Schlinke is my favorite”, “I love Dr Schlinke” things like that. That says a lot about him as a person and a doctor.
