"We have had the hardest time finding a “plus sized” prom dresses for a normal sized, athletic girl! The previous day, we went to 9 stores and only found 3 dresses to try on, that she would even consider wearing. Today, we stopped in Glamour Gowns expecting maybe more of the same but it ended up being the best shopping experience we’ve ever had! The ladies were so helpful and personable. They had a good selection and even pushed our daughter to try dresses she maybe wouldn’t have considered to begin with. We ended up leaving with 2 dresses that were perfect and she got to have the prom dress shopping experience that she should have had all along! I cannot recommend them enough! (Also, don’t sleep on bridesmaid dresses for prom - you might be pleasantly surprised by what you find!)"

"I wanted to leave this review because my bridesmaids and I were extremely disappointed in what we experienced on Friday. I had called to schedule and appointment for bridal shopping, I scheduled it for Friday at 4pm. My bridesmaids and I showed up a few minutes before 4pm and were greeted and asked if we were shopping for prom, once we said no and that we had an appointment we were treated as if we were an inconvenience for them. I didn’t get helped until 4:15-4:20 since they had already booked all the dressing rooms, keep in mind I did have an appointment that was scheduled for 4pm. I tried to keep an open mind as it is prom season and I knew they would be busy. While looking at dresses I found a few I loved and wanted to make sure they could be ordered in white before I tried them on, to which they sighed and said they’d have to check the computer (this was scheduled as a bridal appointment). Not once through the entire appointment did I get help with sizing or even asked if I needed help with anything. While trying on dresses, my bridesmaids noticed the workers whispering and giving us dirty looks. I did find one dress I liked but after being treated so poorly and feeling so unwelcome we decided to leave and go find a dress at a different place. I had bought my prom dress here when it was under the old owners and had an amazing experience, this time was horrible. I’ve never felt so unwelcome or uncared for. I’m extremely disappointed and will be sharing my experience with others, please work on the customer service."

"The team at Glamour Gowns & More is FANTASTIC! This is one of the happiest and most helpful stores I have ever walked into. Aside from them having great products and a huge selection to choose from, they are also the most kind, personable, & helpful group of people. I came in here wanting to buy bridesmaid & maid of honor dresses for my wedding, and it was the most seamless experience. They helped me brainstorm and they were patient with me. I feel lucky beyond measure to have came across this store, I am lucky that I could go in person and see colors, materials, try different dresses on, rather than purchasing online. All of this was very helpful in making me feel confident in my choice! Overall, the best & most I incredible customer service, and a beautiful store! Forever will be recommending GG&M to everyone I know!!!!"

"I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this company is. On August 14th I went out shopping for a dress to wear to an upcoming Military Ball. I am a plus sized woman (dress size 20). I called all over Tulsa and most of the places that say they carry plus size either stop at a 14-16 or have larger sizes that look like someone grabbed some drapes and cut holes in them. It is so stressful trying to find formal wear when you are bigger. So, I found a dress online and called the store to confirm that it was in stock. It wasn’t, but the nice young lady on the phone told me they do carry plus sizes in store. Inventory was a little low because of prom season ending and homecoming beginning. So I took a chance. I went in expecting the usual treatment. You know the one, not much service, Side eye and looking down the nose at the bigger girl. I’ve been “plus sized” my whole life, and I’m used to it. Not here, though. I had the nicest woman helping me (I hate that I cannot remember her name). She showed me dress after dress until my friend and I agreed on the perfect one. THEN, rather than making me buy this dress and having to pay for serious alterations, she took my measurements and ordered the size I needed! These were not cheaply made David’s Bridal type dresses. These dresses are amazing AND competitively priced!! I believe I saw sizes in store up to a 28. Ladies, I will likely never go anywhere else. I have never been treated so well in a store and I am so grateful I could cry."
