"What One does better than other SLC ramen spots: (1) great sear on the chashu pork, creating a variety of textures from crunchy to melt-in-your-mouth tender, (2) perfectly cooked jammy eggs, not just half but one whole one!, (3) amazing marinade on the karaage, very gingery and moist thigh meat, (4) pleasant pace of service, (5) not as crowded as, say, JINYA. What could be better: richer tonkotsu broth."
"One server tonight and she did amazing! Everything was incredible. We had the shrimp udon noodles, spicy tonkatsu and the soft shell crab buns. First time here but we will be back!!"
"Guilty as charged. I'm already having naughty thoughts about this ramen and it hasn't been more than a few moments since I savored every slurp. Devilishly smooth broth. Pork so tender it's sinful. Spice hitting just right. I'm simply in love. Also... To my server Hannah, keep being you."
"Ramen was tasty and the gyoza were delicious. Service was very friendly and quick. Atmosphere isn’t anything fancy. Good for a quick bite out."
"A competitive rival for the best ramen we’ve had in Salt Lake, though much closer to home which helps tip our scales, One Noodle Bar has us excited about ramen again! *Also currently our absolute number one spot for potstickers!* I was stunned when I found out they were cooked from frozen, though it doesn’t bother me when they taste like they do once it hits the table. Such a drool worthy dipping sauce to go with excellent gyoza. They’ve recently begun a loyalty reward card as well, with one free bowl of ramen after you buy five, and have rolled out ramen combos where you can choose a small appetizer to go with your bowl for a fixed price. Their winter special is a Tan Tan ramen bowl and we are in love with it right now."
