"First time dining at a Pei Wei and my first reaction coming in was that it seemed like a Panda Express vibe which shocked me because the outside looked more upscale and the menu is slightly more expensive. They do have waitstaff but understaffed. there was a waitress who had to do cashier, dine in service and togo orders. We did get our order in a timely manner but our food arrived in to go plates even though we dined in. Portions on entrees were good but not the soup (under filled) General Tso Chicken: 3/5 chicken was heavily breaded. Flavor was decent. Kung pao chicken: 4/5 chicken was breaded but the texture was more chewy. Flavor was better and spice level was good. Hot and sour soup: 2/5 honestly the worst I’ve ever had. Flavor was one dimensional and really dark broth. It was not hot just lukewarm. Came under filled in the bowl. Total was $35."

"Walked in for a quick bite before catching a show at Hale Center Theater. Was greeted by our host, Treven. He was very friendly and even gave us some great recommendations. This is our second time being served by him he’s very thorough and professional. Would recommend the Sandy location to anyone."

"I just love Pei Wei! You order at a counter and they bring your food to your table. The service has always been quick for me. For an appetizer I recommend the crab wontons and the chicken lettuce wraps. I have also ordered the lettuce wraps for my main meal before because they are filling and also the best lettuce wraps I’ve ever had. My two favorite entrees are the honey seared chicken and the Mongolian steak. They are both fantastic."

"Ordered a platter for 5-7 and the meat to rice/noodles was disappointing. Could use more meat. Also the rice wasn’t soft and the texture of the meat felt like it had been sitting around and recooked when I ordered. The beef to my beef and broccoli was burnt. If I’m gonna do take out I would expect what I pay. We don’t order take out much and tried something new but honestly I felt like panda has better fresh food."
