"We had a cross country flight and didn't want to subject our favorite four legged friend to that. So we found this place close by, they were great to work with, even if the times are a bit short, we got it all worked out. When we picked up they had given her a bath and she was excited to see us."
"There were multiple reasons I am giving a low review. I originally requested my boarding reservation in October, and received the confirmation on 10/15. My confirmation included the additional paid bath & brush package I requested, along with the note for a nail trim. This part seemed to go well, and I felt confident things would go smoothly. The one part I would suggest changing, is allowing for the ability to upload pet records. There is mention of the animal needing to be current on vaccinations, but no way to provide them, or confirm they were received, and are sufficient. At drop off, I was incredibly disappointed. The staff member seemed very unsure about things, and was not confident when answering my questions. I was never asked for vaccination records. I was the one who brought up the fact I had emailed the records over, and the staff member simply said they’d add them to the account. This was the first time boarding at Pet Central, and I was incredibly nervous leaving my dog. I asked if I could see where she would be kept, and sleeping, when not in the play area, and was told they don’t allow anyone behind the gate. That is a huge red flag to me. I reluctantly left my dog, with no reassurance from the staff member, and wanted to cancel my trip so I didn’t have to leave her. I dropped her off on Thursday morning, and was originally picking her up Monday morning, simply due to the very limited hours for pick up on Saturday, and being closed Sunday. However, as soon as I drove away, I immediately went into panic mode, and changed my trip plans, so I could pick her up on Saturday. I didn’t want her staying any longer than absolutely necessary. I emailed to request the change in pick up, and wanted to confirm she would still get a bath and nail trim. I received a reply acknowledging the pick up date change, but was told that she didn’t qualify for a free bath service, but I could request to be put on the list, but it wasn’t guaranteed. They obviously didn’t look at her boarding reservation. I responded letting them know I had added this paid service during the original boarding request, and it had been confirmed. I told them I wanted the service, and would pay for it, to which I was told again it was not guaranteed and she’d be put on the list. Frustrating and disappointing. Upon pick up, there was no conversation or discussion on how my dog had done during her stay. No “report card” or anything to let me know how she ate, behaved, played, bowel movements, or anything. I asked if she’d been given a bath or had her nails trimmed, and was told they didn’t know and would have to ask the owners. I was given a total, and that was it. The receipt doesn’t even itemize anything. It’s just a miscellaneous charge. I will not be returning to this establishment. I was incredibly disappointed, and would not recommend this place to anyone."
