Reviews
"Harvest seems to be a middle-of-the-line American restaurant, positioned for farm-to-table style cooking at a reasonable price. This review is a bit unfair as we ordered the "party plan" where it was 3 course meal planned for 18. However, even so, there is no way to redeem the way the steak was served. The restaurant feels quite cozy and nice, nested inside a barn-like structure with a few other businesses. Host was welcoming and we were quickly seated. Definitely not an upscale place, but also, absolutely passable for a solid meal out. The bread on the table was tasty, and perhaps this is where the meal should've ended. I chose the steak for my main course. Salad was straight forward and I appreciated the fresh greens. So this steak was supposed to be "medium"... what came out was a chunk of overcooked, unchewable piece of meat. Seasoning was decent. And I couldn't tell the quality of the beef as it was just a lukewarm chunk of something. You genuinely couldn't chew or saw through. Chimichurri sauce with boiled spinach was tasty, and so was the mashed potatoes the steak sat on. So I do not think this restaurant is hopeless. My assessment is that they pre-cooked the steaks. Really? For a party of 18? Finally, the cheescake for dessert was decent but the texture felt a bit grainy. I'm bummed that I didn't get to try out their regular menu. I could see a lot of items that sounded exciting. Will definitely give it another shot if opportunity arises."
"Nice quiet atmosphere that makes for a special sit down restaurant, wish you could get to it without needing to pass through the noisy sticky area outside of it. I visited the women’s bathrooms twice and it took away from the clean or well maintained feel of the restaurant with TP and trash all over the floor, sticky surfaces. Bread at the table was delicious, as were the Halibut tacos. Husband wasn’t impressed with his burger, and our shrimp nachos were yummy until they drowned in sweet sauce. We’re only able to recommend half the food so it’s not good enough odds for us, and for the price it overall felt average so there’s not enough to keep us coming back."
"this place is so freaking cute, me and my boyfriend had a great experience for valentine’s day! the food was really good"
"This is a great sit down restaurant at the point of the mountain. With a little quieter setting, it was a good location for dinner. Our staff was a little slow to our needs, but the food itself was really good. The highlight was the Fish tacos with the Halibut, and had a great sauce in them too. The portions here are quite large, so don’t be afraid to split them up. Really good food and I’m excited to come back soon!"
