Slapfish

"Slapfish is just missing the mark. Great concept, but some tweaking could make this place 5 star. I got the Poke bowl and the Brussel sprouts/ tuna bowl had too much creamy sauce and tuna was cut too small. It would have been amazing with some mango. Brussels were over sauced, over charred and over salted I might be back to try something new, but I’m not sure! Also, it’s very frustrating when restaurant dining rooms temperatures are set at such an uncomfortably cold temp that you don’t want to stay. 67 on a cold rainy day is not pleasant"

"This is such a good location. Nice, upbeat music. The guy behind the register is super charming, kind, and helpful. The food matches the awesome service and atmosphere. It’s scrumptious. I had the lobster crab melt with sweet and sour cauliflower as a side. The ratio of lobster and crab to cheese is just right. Also, I know marshmallow treats seem a bit basic, but they’re really not if you order them here. They’re made with real butter (as opposed to margarine) and you can taste the difference. Quality ingredients do make a difference and this place is very much aware of that. You can taste it in every dish they serve."

"The shrimp burrito was very unique. I loved it! The taste was kind of like shrimp fajitas wrapped up with beans & rice, but the spicy aioli and herb oil brought it to another level. I really enjoyed the views. Neat dining area with a variety of seats. The tables and counters were kind of sticky despite looking clean. They must use a cleaning product that is building up."

"We were a little scared to try it when we walked in, because there was only one other group eating in the restaurant and the prices seemed steep. They are totally worth it, the breaded cod in the fish and chips and the fish tacos was really excellent. I was really surprised at just how good the food was, especially the fish tacos. Will definitely be going back if they keep cooking like this!"
