avid hotel Oklahoma City - Quail Springs, an IHG Hotel

"It’s the cleanliness, service, and membership that keep me coming back to avid. Was performing in the city and decided to stay over and explore. Looked up the closest avid, booed it using membership points and viola, it was a wonderful stay. The room was sooooooo clean, remote and TV working, iron and board there, shower was heavenly. Those beds are crazy comfy and they had a nice breakfast setup. The employees were all courteous, professional, and friendly. There’s a workout room and outdoor pool here. Didn’t realize it when I booked, but this location right next door to a trampoline park and the mall is in its backyard. Definitely would stay again."

"Staff was awesome. The hotel staff member Brenda took great care of us. This was our second encounter with her, we stay here frequently. She is always helpful, and professional! Hotel is always clean, rooms are comfortable!"

"Well we will never stay here again, unfortunately. We have been staying here pretty regularly since it opened and have mostly enjoyed our stays until recently, when they suddenly have an issue with us bringing our non aggressive pit bull. I called the ihg line and no where do they state they won’t take certain breeds. My husband noted that this has not ever been an issue except for the last time, where it was resolved after another woman at the front desk got an attitude, called the gm, and was told it’s fine. This time topped the cake though when my husband received a call to the room that we had to immediately leave the premises. When my husband went to the front to get the woman’s name, she said “I’m not telling you a damn thing,” and proceeded to yell and argue loud enough that I could hear her all the way down the hall at the other end of the hotel with my 11 year old son. Embarrassing, disrespectful, and not professional. After loading back up, my husband went back in to check and make sure we got everything to find her on the phone with police. He asked if he would be told he is trespassing or if he could go check the room and she said she didn’t care what he did. After getting a refund, she apologized for her ridiculous behavior and we left. She does not need to be in customer facing professions and the hotel needs to post what dogs they discriminate against before people settle in to their room. Thankfully we found another hotel down the road that took her kindly. We will stay here regularly now. I will say, he is very thankful for the service Brenda has provided over the years, but other workers have not been kind at all."

"This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you don’t care about being downtown. Plenty of restaurants around. The rooms are small, but perfect for people who are just sleeping and changing in the room. It’s a very basic room with no frills but it’s clean and comfortable. There is a little noise pollution from the other rooms or the hallways, but not much. The bathroom and shower were clean and they had plenty of soap. The prices are really stellar even on the weekend, making it really affordable, even when nearly fully booked. The beds are COMFY."
