"My wife and I stayed here over 30 years ago and have never forgotten it......this place is haunted for sure - my wife still gets the creeps thinking about it - we were dead tired and a storm was rolling in on us and we couldn't make it to Dallas so we stayed here - at least we survived....."

"This was the worst motel we have ever stayed at. If I could give 1/2 a star I would! The television did not work, nor did the lights in the room. The bathroom was gross, pubic hair and grime on bath tub and toilet. The bed was turned over where you have to sleep on the springs! We were absolutely miserable! Maybe slept 2 hours from sheer exhaustion. This place needs to be closed!"

"The only things redeemable about this place are the AC and location. I am a traveling business owner, I travel with my dogs. There is a sign in the lobby saying there is a pet fee of $5, however when I called to book a room in advance, the lady told me they did not accept pets. She was very abrupt and rude. She was the same in person. They act as if you are annoying them with your very presence. The first time I stayed, despite the rudeness, the room seemed ok. The 2nd room I was given on another visit had whisker hair all over the faucet and sink, the walls and doors were covered in dirty hand prints. After speaking with co workers, they reported the same conditions in their rooms. All this after being treated rudely and having zero eye contact, no appreciation of customers, acting hostile and dismissive. If you are a weary traveller and have no other choice but to stay here to get safely off the road....stay here for sure because it is affordable. But if you are able to make a point by NOT staying here, do it!"
