"Highly recommend the trail rides! We went on an hour trail ride guided by Addie and we had a blast. The scenery was beautiful and we were able to relax and enjoy the horses and wildlife. Addie was the perfect guide! Super friendly and outgoing and very patient with our kids. Can't wait to go again!"
"PARENTS BEWARE! I signed my 8 year old daughter up for one of Silver Wind’s summer camps. We go to drop her off the first day. I find it odd that there are only a few teenagers that may or may not be old enough to drive intaking paperwork. I don’t think too much about it because we were early. My husband picks our daughter up after the all-day (6 hour) camp. She is in tears that the bigger girls made fun of every single thing she did ALL DAY LONG. I immediately called the contact Ashley (also a teenager), and she just downplayed it and said they didn’t notice anything. In six hours?!? I was able to get my daughter into the stable camp for the rest of the week, where there were also only teenagers, and she came home and complained of rudeness. We ended up only going three days. There was also a $100 difference between the camps, which we were never offered to be reimbursed the difference. We had to have the ‘hurt people hurt people’ conversation because of their camp environments. Maybe they have enough customers right now and they do not care, but having camps with zero adult supervision, tolerating bullying, and no communication of the week’s events for parents is not the way to earn new customers. Also, they have conveniently turned off the ability to leave reviews on their Facebook page. If I can save another family from being subjected to this dysfunctional environment, that is my goal."
"Communication is non-existent, the owner was terribly rude and flaky to me, and even attacked my personal character when I finally sent a message telling her I’d be coming out to the barn to try and schedule in person, since she hadn’t been responsive through phone. I see that plenty of people have had good experiences, but that has not been the case for me. I’ll post photos of our conversation at a later time, as I’m writing this review through a mobile device."
"Best place for children & adults for all equestrian needs. Full & partial horse care and boarding, lessons with trained professionals, beautiful pastures, landscape and riding trails. Indoor and outdoor arenas, kids camps, parties, etc."
"I have boarded my horse here until I got some land of my own. The barn is great and the people are amazing. I still go back often just to ride and be with such great people. You will not find a better barn family anywhere else."
