"I have had pain issues with my sciatica and degenerative disc disease for 3 years. After seeing Dr Beall, I was scheduled for a disc injection last week. It was a success and I now have no pain. Wonderful and expert doctor . Thank you!"
"This was hands down the worst doctor's experience of my life, 65 years in. I suffer from bilateral sciatica, bilateral central canal and foraminal stenosis, suffer from nerve impingement; every disc in my lumbar spine is bulging... trying to avoid surgery to replace 2 discs with rubber ones and fuse me at 3 levels, which has a glowing 50% success rate. I also have a Schmorl's node. My primary has been after me for years to get an epidural and referred me to Beall. This guy comes in obviously in a hurry, has me raise & lower my legs and then asks me where it hurts most and I told him different places. He asked me no, where does it hurt most, and I told him again at different times, it's different places. I also have suffered from DGS, so when that's active, it hurts more than other places. When my legs give out, that hurts more than other places. And the center of my back hurts all the dang time. I tried telling this guy these things, and all he wanted to do was interrupt me and no matter what I said, "No, no, no, where does it hurt the most?" It was obvious he was in a 3-5 minute hurry. I guess since I wouldn't answer his question the way he wanted me to, he wanted nothing to do with me, as he literally said, "Sorry, I cannot help you." He was focused on something other than helping me. I don't know whether it was time limitations or doing things his way or the highway or what, but it most definitely wasn't me. I have never felt more humiliated in my life, as he did this in front of his nurse and another doctor-looking guy. This kind of interaction makes me not want to go to a doctor ever again! He's very arrogant & very controlling. I did a repeat MRI and waited 3 months for that? Shame on him!"
"On July 20, 2023, I called and talked with Peyton (she says she's the office manager). I informed her then that I was an established patient of Dr. Beall's and that I was in a lot of pain and needed to make an appointment to see him. She said it had been awhile since I had seen Dr. Beall and that she would check with him to see if he would want new imaging (the same thing she said the other times we talked). She made no mention during that phone call of also needing a referral again (I could have been working on that). She said after talking with Dr. Beall she would call me back. She never did. This is the 4th time she said she would call me back after talking with Dr. Beall about whether or not I needed new imaging, but she NEVER does call me back. Today, September 19, 2023, I called and talked with Peyton again. She says she doesn't recall the phone conversation we had on July 20th. How convenient for her. That explains why she never called me back. I made copious notes during our conversation on July 20th (recorded the phone conversation on my cell phone as well) because she never follows up and I was growing impatient with her. Today, during our conversation she tells me I was being inappropriate (she said I was raising my voice. I believe I was being assertive). Peyton obviously lacks office management skills (doesn't recall the conversation on July 20th) and at worst, she has limited integrity. If you catch her with her slip showing she immediately gets defensive and claims you're being inappropriate. I will not be getting a referral, imaging nor returning to Dr. Beall's practice. It's not worth the hassle if you have to put up with this type of unprofessionalism. This is unfortunate because Dr. Beall is very good at what he does. He deserves better than this, as do I. "OMG I don't know how to start this message I've been trying to send it for over 5 weeks now but I always end up getting so emotional every time I want to send it so let me try one more time. I never take the time to do reviews, but this time is different! I visited the Diagnostic Radiology Specialist in Edmond The Spine Fracture Institute office the second week of March 2023 after sustaining a very serious back injury and let me tell you that I have not had the Patient Care experience like I did at this practice in a long, long time!. Dr. Beall's staff were kind enough to fit me into their busy schedule knowing the severity of my injuries and how painful they were, yet what strikes me is that even though this is a very busy practice no staff members drop the ball with me nor with their regular patients; from front desk, scheduling, billing, and his wonderful RN, they always remained professional with me and my wife. The morning of my procedure, Dr. Beall took the time to explain his plan and the consequences of it and even asked my wife to be there to listen and make sure we all were on the same page, what a doctor! . Long story short, Dr. Beall and his staff were an answered prayer (especially his nurse)."
"I was referred to Dr. Beall twice. Both times I was dropped from receiving care after a conversation with front desk, who was giving me the wrong information and arguing with me. When a support person who was not in the exam room with doctor and myself, gives me instructions that are not what doctor told me, am I supposed to obey? Or question it? Right. That poorly trained individual must run the show. The doctor surely does not. Once again, a doctor loses a patient because staff is harder to replace. Apparently."
