"I waited a while to post my review because I wanted to fully reflect on my experience without taking it into the rest of my fertility journey. Pros: Nice staff, very nice office. Cons: Doctor to patient ratio, lack of attention, poor and insensitive handling of patient results. My wife and I scheduled an IUI consultation in July 2022. The first available appointment was in September. Consultations tend to have a longer waiting period, so we thought nothing of it. The consultation with NP Leslie King went well, so we scheduled our initial visit for the next available date, the beginning of October. Test results came back promptly. However, we were required to review the results with Dr. Ahlering, who was not available until AFTER Thanksgiving. Further, whenever you have a question, you are required to contact your patient coordinator via the patient portal. However, responses are not received for 2-3 days. We expressed to Dr. Ahlering that MCRM may not be a good fit for us, because the practice seemed to be overwhelmed with patients. He assured us this was not the case and that after this step, things move along faster. This was the only time we met with Dr. Ahlering. We had our IUI in February 2023, which failed. We were informed by the receptionist. Not Leslie, Dr. Ahlering, or our patient coordinator (I believe her name was Karen or Kara). We never heard from our medical team after that. We knew then MCRM was not the clinic for us. Additionally, during my initial scans, I noticed that I had quite a few fibroids. I specifically asked Leslie if this would hinder our process. She said it would not. After our failed IUI, we moved to Mate Fertility in OKC. We were immediately informed that due to the location and size of my fibroids, I would never get pregnant via IUI and they required surgical intervention (not laparoscopic). Despite this, I do understand that everyone's experience varies. Fertility is hard enough, but our experience with MCRM made a tough experience even harder."
