"Nothing but positives to say. Tiffany, Shawn, Matthew, and Mr. Jimmy all made an impact on my son. Tiffany and Shawn put my mind at ease. A lot of these places have kids and adults mixed, all kinds of people with all different needs, but the Calm Center is only kids 10-17. Most places will return your kid worse than when they went in, Calm was our light of hope. I fought hard to get my 16 yo son from a Dallas hospital to Calm. From the first call I KNEW in my soul that this was the place. I believe Calm has helped my child immeasurably. They were there for US in our crisis, and nothing I can say will express how deep my gratitude is. He made friends, he did all kinds of therapy, gained coping skills, they worked on communication, democracy... AND my kid loved it. As the other reviews said, my kid agrees that the food was good. They asked him if he needed/wanted to try meds, and most things like that were his choice. He had a voice there, nothing was forced. My kid spent 7 days here at Calm in Tulsa. We were 5ish hours away in Texas. I didn't have to worry about him. They took care of him, they helped him, and 7 days later his light has returned. He's happy, healthy, and safe. Oh, and it's uh FREE. You read that right, FREE. Another place wanted $26k. Free. This means that your income doesn't matter, they will absolutely help your child, even if you can't afford to pay anything. FREE. It only cost us gas from TX to Tulsa x2 trips plus 2 hotel stays. Such a small amount to give my child his life back. This is the place. This is your sign."
