"Athena masons entire practice is an absolute mess. I have a chronic illness and she did absolutely no research before my new patient appointment and while I was trying to get help she was extremely dismissive and difficult. Zero compassion. Not to mention I told her three times that I use CVS and she filled my prescription at a random Walgreens. The little pharmacy mess up would really not be a big deal but it’s just that she was so dismissive of me and rude including her front of desk staff. The whole experience was just a mess. I really don’t recommend Athena if you have a chronic illness."
"I moved here from CA in January 2022. I needed my first mammogram after breast cancer. Not only did she recommend a Dr, the cancer center called me within days. I needed a new pcp and Dr Mason is the best. She responded to my complaint and asked questions so she was sure she got the right info. Months later I went in for referral, but by the time I got there, I had other issues. They took x-rays, drew blood, all in the same building. Great place. Would recommend"
"I have been seeing Dr. Asher for almost 10 years and i am convinced he is the best Dr. i have ever had. however...... his office staff is TERRIBLE!! i have many horror stories from lost prescriptions, heart monitors that got lost, phlebotomist with NO experience (i think they are trainees). if you get told your prescription is on the top of the stack to be called in i suggest you drive up there and pick up the hard copy because you have at the very least a 5 day wait and 5 daily phone calls to actually get them to call it in. they get a 2 star because Dr. Asher is excellent!!!!"
"I have been going to FMA since 2006. My first doctor was Dr. Jeske After my medical problems I was having did not get remedied by him in 5 months I moved to Dr. Wooster. My whole family loves him. After just 1 month of looking through my records from Dr. Jeske and getting a few more test done he figured out what I had and got me to the appropriate specialists I needed to see. His nurse Lorna is an absolute doll and we all love her as well as Dr. Wooster. They really do care about your well being and are so invested in you personally. Yes, there are many times that I have had to wait 30 minutes or more but it was still worth it."
"I have had nothing but trouble with this clinic. It takes forever to get someone to call you back when you have a question. The referral "nurse" is NEVER there! I went through so many run arounds trying to get basic questions answered and things taken care of. I was a new patient going through some pretty scary stuff. I had so many tests run, I can't even count the number, but it would take weeks to get results, I was usually the one that had to finally call and ask for them, then I would have to wait for someone to call back. Sometimes that took days. After lots of research, on my own, I discovered the cause of my issues. When I told the Dr. (Mason), what I had found, and that it was my gallbladder that needed to come out, she just kind of smirked and said that "no surgeon would ever see me if my tests came back clear" they all did come out clear. She just gave me diet pills and anti-depressants and said it was anxiety and brushed me off. I went and visited a surgeon anyway....sure enough, he took out my gallbladder, and I've been better ever since, NO Thanks to Dr. (Mason). I also needed a copy of my records for some legal things that are going on. I called, and they told me to come in and fill out a form, so I did. The front office staff just kind of laughed when I told them I needed a copy for myself. A couple of weeks later someone from records called, acting dumbly confused that I needed a copy of my records. She said she would call me within the week and I could come get them. After 2 MONTHS I still hadn't gotten my records. I made a phone call, and they "couldn't find my records request" which is total B.S. After a long time on hold and being transferred several times, I finally got someone to kind of help me. I am so over this office and their staff. The staff is highly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and a lot of time and find a better place to go."
