He is very encouraging and relaxed and fun and extremely knowledgeable--not only a great musician but a great teacher! He can always spot right away if something isn't quite right with how our daughter is playing and knows just what to do about it! He uses a variety of material to keep things interesting and tailors the choices to the student's interests as much as possible.
