"This place was horrible. They fed my diabetic 3 kinds of potatoes at one meal. Anyone with any kind of knowledge of a diabetic diet should know better. So many meals were loaded with starches he should not have had as well as sugar loaded desserts. He had an sore on his ankle that we had worked on with a fantastic wound care Dr at TMC for 18 months. It was within a month of being totally healed. They did not change dressings as they should so I brought the dressings and meds from home that myself and the wound care nurse had been dressing the wound with and I dressed it myself. They told me to stop doing it as they had a wound care nurse that would keep it changed. She did not. The sore was beginning to get bigger. Then I started changing it again as we could not depend on her. I initialed and dated the tape, therefore I knew it was not being changed. They took him for a shower, dressings on and never changed the soapy filthy dressing on it ankle. I didnt get to come see him for a few days and the minute I opened his door I smelled infection. I WAS AND STILL AM LIVID!!! There was pus draining from his dressing. I took the dressing off and it was so awful. I called any and everybody I could in there to show them what abuse looks and smells like. Neglect. It was pure neglect. His wound care Dr was as livid as I was when he saw it and offered to sign any papers I needed to sue them. I am not a sueing person, however you should know what happens at this home!!! If I could give no stars, I would! Never got most of his clothes back either. His name was on them, no excuse."

"We looked into this facility when looking for a place to relocate my uncle. It was a very nice location. Well staffed and the nurses desk is in the middle and can see clearly down each hallway which I liked. They give their patients options for lunch and dinner and have a beverage bar which was awesome. The residents seemed very happy. Unfortunately they did not a accept my uncle because they don't often accept MR (mental retardation) patients even though he is elderly and does not have behavior issues."

"Pecan Tree is very friendly and genuine.They have compassionate Nurses, Nurses Aides, kitchen staff, maintenance, and housekeepers. Their Therapy department is top notch, I’ve seen them work miracles and was one of their patrons. From the time you walk into the building, you get greeted with a warm smile welcoming you. Living there was pretty much easy, they take care of everything. You have different denominations of churches that hold service their and bible studies. Everyday there is something planned to do for the residents, arts and crafts, bingo, and (pre COVID-19) outings just to name a few."

"My mother suffered from dementia and we could no longer care for her at home. We trusted Pecan Tree to care for her. They met and exceeded our expectations. From the housekeeping and kitchen staffs to the nurses and aids...they all treated her with kindness. You could tell they truly cared for her. They were in constant contact with me about anything going on with mom’s health. They truly are Angels and we were blessed to have had them care for our mother."
