"Ordered eggs overwell and received overeasy. Mushy hash browns. Food served on paper plates. Bad service. Never got a coffee refill. Check handed to me with our meal and never saw waitress again. Been before a couple years ago and it was about the same experience. Disappointing, I love little coffee shops."

"So I'm going to try to be as positive as I can in this review. I enjoyed the service, I was attended to quickly and treated good. Though the food, the coffee basically everything I had. Was extremely bland. The coffee is didn't even drink because it actually tastes like hot water. I could not taste the actual coffee, maybe it's because I make my coffee so strong but who knows. The entire meal was just so unremarkable. I don't know how this place has 5 star reviews but that's not to say they couldn't achieve 5 star quality. It's just not there right now. I wish them good luck."

"Great service and delicious food. When in the Gourmet Waffle House you try the waffles. Warm butter and warm syrup was a wonderful addition. We will definitely come back."

"Food was fresh hot and fast. Service was OK not particularly friendly but not surly either. Warm syrup for your waffles along with clarified butter in big squeeze bottles! Place is clean but a bit dated. Local establishment that deserves your patronage. Update 02/26/2022 Went for Lunch, had a table of 6 and the service was fast, friendly and attentive. We had waffles and chicken, Pork Chops, A Burger, A Omelet and the Daily Special. Everything came out really good and priced really good, especially since every major chain has raised prices to the moon. Daily Special was 5.99 it was beef stew with cornbread."
