Will Rogers Elementary School 1215 East 9th Street, Edmond, OK 73034

"Where should I start? Most of the ladies in the front are rude.. Went in twice to be looked at like I didn't belong. The first time the ladies carried on conversation as if I weren't standing there waiting to be helped. They weren't busy at all. Just talking. Then noticed I was there after a lady looked at me and continued talking with her colleges. When I went to pick them up they proceeded to ask for my ID. (Both my daughters next to me, mind you). She took it looked at it then walked back looked at her paper (which should have notified her I have two children attending) and asked if my other child was going with me as if she didn't know why she was following me.. Took longer than necessary. Especially when there are only five kids in there. Needles to say, another parent (cough) went in so I waited to see how long his encounter was. Behold, He was in and out in a matter of seconds, no ID needed. Why did you check me but not the others? Am I missing something here? Usually, problematic situations aren't more than they appear. This I believe is not the case. The whole situation felt awkward. I did not feel welcome. What kind of school doesn't speak to the pupils parents upon entry of their establishment. You all have to do better. People notice small things."
