Established in 1999, the institution was founded by Charles, who returned from Portland, Oregon with a Master's in Counseling to work at Spence Counseling Center. Over the years, the center has expanded to offer group therapy for domestic violence offenders, anger management, and counseling for individuals and families struggling with gambling addiction.

With over 15 Christian therapists in multiple locations across Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas, Spence Counseling Center is dedicated to providing help, healing, and freedom to those in need.
