Holiday Motel

"This is a fabulous motel. The room was clean. Linda, the manager/owner, is very friendly and helpful. It is not a huge place with a ton of amenities. It's nice and tidy though. A perfect choice when traveling. The bed was very comfy. Power receptacles easy to use. Fridge and microwave convenient. The heater warms the room quickly. Very short walk from my room to my truck. This is all I ask for in accomodations. The price is also exceptionally reasonable. I personally love trains and the occasional sound of them passing by is just an added bonus. Not too loud, but present. Just right. I'm the morning, since you're on the edge of town-be prepared for the morning choir of birds. Very peaceful and pleasant. I will stay at this location again."

"We were just snowed in and landed at this cozy little motel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even guided us to places to eat and get groceries, making sure we had all we needed. The room was clean, warm, and well maintained. We’re so grateful to have this as an option during an unexpected hiccup in our trip! The hot bath was much appreciated!"

"I will echo the sentiments of others. I stopped here after a very long day of driving. The room was clean, the shower hot, and the bed comfortable. John (the host) was so kind and yes, the food trailer in the parking lot made the end of day search for something to eat, easy. It's a low-key, old-school motel. It's not fancy but I don't need fancy. I want kind, clean, and comfortable and this place had it all. Sadly, I didn't get to see what the town had because I left early but I'd love to travel back through someday."

"This place was old-school, minimalist and classy. It was incredibly clean and had a cute table/chair combo and a big easy chair and a fridge (with an actual freezer!) and microwave. It definitely is not modern so of you're needy you probably won't like it but it is a great value! The food truck is simple and VERY affordable. YES, it is near the train tracks and the train sounds all night but that's part of the appeal!"

"Looks like they have new owners that are very friendly and go out of their way to be nice and helpful. The room was super clean and smelled great. Plus there is an amazing food truck parked there! I will definitely stay here everytime!!"
