"Called Garrett Tire and Treads in North Platte on a Saturday. Most shops were closed for the weekend, but they were open until noon and happy to help us. What started as a broken CV boot turned out to be a broken boot, broken CV axle, shredded brake pad, and broken/leaking caliper! They immediately offered to show us the issues so we knew they were legitimate, which they certainly were. The manager (Shane) was extremely helpful in locating all of the parts for us in town so that we weren’t stranded hours from home all weekend. He worked with several dealers and made endless calls to find all the right parts, and the mechanic even drove across town to pick them up and install them on the spot. They stayed past closing to make sure the job was done that day. The cost was appropriate for the job and the labor billed was very conservative given that both Shane and the mechanic both worked several hours. Overall I cannot recommend this shop enough- even though we live over 4 hours away, I’m coming here next time I’ve got car trouble!"
