"During our travels a friend recommended stopping at a Cracker Barrel. We had a look around the wonderful shop at all the Knick knacks, clothes, candy etc. The restaurant was not very busy so we were seated right away. The waitress approached our table fairly quickly and took our drink and food order. When our food arrived it was barely lukewarm. The flavour was good so I can see how my friend recommended eating at a Cracker Barrel. Maybe a different location would be better."
"The Disaster Night at this restaurant. When we were seated, at the side where my spouse was sitting was dirty (crumbs of some sort). Second, we waited around 10 minutes for the waitress to come, and then for the dinner we were waiting 50 minutes and it wasn't a busy night. They were out of biscuits and we had to wait 10-15 minutes for them too and when the biscuits arrived they were doughy, undercooked/baked. Still, in the waiting process, we heard how the same waitress who served us also said to the table next to us they were out of one of the dessert options on the menu. Finally, everything arrived but it was cold, overcooked or not suitable for toddlers. The Chicken fried chicken was overcooked and very hard to eat, the mashed potatoes were cold, and the option that we chose for our child was chicken tenders were spicy, nowhere on the menu was mentioned that the kids fried chicken tenders are spicy, my child was crying and saying it is hot. We said that to the waitress, and she just asked do you want to order dessert? What? We asked for the manager to come but the response was the manager wasn't there. This was the end. We decide to pay, leave and never come back to this restaurant!"
"The young woman who took my phone order was super friendly and very patient (I had a long order). Unfortunately, we were missing a couple of items and it was almost 30 minutes longer wait than was told. Kind of a long wait when you have people to feed. And, sad to say, I come to Cracker Barrel more than I care to admit... However, the food over the past couple of years is inconsistent as best. Sometimes it's cold, small portions, and doesn't taste great. Other times it's the best meal. Many years ago, CB was consistent across the board...just not lately. I stopped coming as much."
"Excellent. I've always liked Cracker Barrel. There aren't any near my house, so when we're on a road trip, we try to make sure we have a pleasant meal. I recommend the fried chicken. Great meal."
"I have been occasionally going to Cracker Barrel for years. This location has always been great. I don't go here very often because it's not close to home. However, this past Saturday, I was in the mood for breakfast for dinner. The first thing that strikes me every time I go to a Cracker Barrel is how un-corporate it looks. Cracker Barrel looks more like a welcoming old fashion store you might find in a small Midwest town. The shop area is always full of neat items. It's fun to see what they have for sale before Christmas. After taking an initial look around, I asked to be seated. It didn't take long for a server to take my order. I decided to try the Merry Berry tea, and I was not disappointed. For my order, I had the Country Boy Breakfast with 2 pancakes. I chose steak tips for the meat and had my eggs scrambled. The food was great, and I didn't have to wait long for the food. The server took care of me too. When I was done eating, I went back to the shop area to look around for a few more minutes. I bought a really neat plastic candle that is filled with water and glitter. It's powered by 3 AA batteries, and I have it in my cubicle at work. It puts me in the Christmas mood. I highly recommend Cracker as a great place to eat, shop for gifts, grab some candy, and buy Christmas decorations."
