"I walked into the small cafe. I was able to sit down right away because I came around brunch. Sitting down and looking around it looked clean! Talked with them about the maps on the wall. People put pins in Where they from. Someone from every state has been here and countless countries! All the food on nearby tables looked very appetizing! I had Chicken Fried Steak and a Biscuit and Gravy! It was great food. Had prompt service on drinks and food! 5 Stars!!!!! Very Very Affordable!!"

"This was my Dad's favorite place to eat, bar none, for many many years. I never had the opportunity to join him here for a meal, but while in town after his passing, I made it a point to come and try the place for myself. The owner, who attended my Dad's funeral and I was fortunate enough to meet, wasn't in the day I visited, but two of the other staff working that day knew my Dad well, and each shared little stories about him, and informed me that when he wasn't getting around as well, they would occasionally take food to him at his home nearby if they hadn't seen him for a few days. The staff here is the epitome of the type of character you used to see everywhere, everyday, and what this country needs to get back to. I overheard a story during my visit of just what these type of people are all about. I won't say exactly what it was they had done, but they helped out a regular customer that day in a fashion you don't see anywhere else. I very quickly understood why my Dad loved this place for so many years. I had the biscuits and gravy, one of my Dad's favorites according to the staff, which is hands down the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. I never thought a place could too the biscuits and gravy at Johnson's corner in Colorado where I live, but Woodee's nailed it!! I don't know who will read this, or where you might be from, but if youve never eaten here, do yourself a favor and experience what I have no doubt, is something us folks who have had a meal two out and about, miss experiencing, truly good people, and truly good food. You will not be disappointed, just as my Dad wasn't for I don't even know how many decades. RIP Dad, and know that I will visit these wonderful folks, and try another one of your favorite menu items anytime I'm in town."

"Recently had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Restaurant had one table left when we walked in. First time customers here. Ordered the chicken fried steak and cinnamon roll. Waitress accidentally brought cinnamon toast, but they fixed the mistake quickly. Service was quick considering how busy they were. Chicken fried steak was not the best I have had, I believe it to be a frozen patty not breaded in house. Cinnamon roll was warm and delicious, hash browns had a nice crispy shell, and eggs were cooked well. Great pricing as well, almost all breakfast combos were under $10. Reasonably priced comfort food."

"Loved this place. Made me feel warm n cozy. Brought me coffee water right away, Food was tasty and plenty of it. Prices were very reasonable I thought. Nicest people. Pushed my pin in their map to show where I was traveling from. Nebraska has my kind of peeps falling in love with this state. Bless guys."

"I had them at Corned beef to my omelets since I don't eat pork. Best omelets of my life! Chicken fried steak was also amazing! Already planning next trip to Lincoln to eat here!"
