The Affirmary

The Affirmary is a health institution located at 6801 Jefferson Street Northeast in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Our commitment is to establish a Fair-Trade Practice for Clinicians and Clients, providing excellence in treatment, ethical supervision, and long-term healing for the community in New Mexico.

Our mission is to offer exceptional care while respecting the dignity of both our clients and staff. We prioritize well-being, balance, safety, and longevity in our work. We provide ethical and affordable supervision to social workers, pay living wages to our staff, and offer fair prices for our services with a sliding scale option.

At The Affirmary, we take a client-centered approach to counseling, collaborating with clients to set goals and create personalized treatment plans. We emphasize continuous learning and collaboration in the mental health field. Currently, we offer virtual sessions with in-person sessions becoming available in April 2024. We will soon be accepting insurance.

With experience in supporting individuals of all ages and identities, as well as families facing change and challenges, our clinical focus includes anxiety, trauma, depression, mood disorders, identity growth, transition support, and LGBTQIA support for youth and young adults.
