"One of the worst providers in the Lovelace OB group. I remembered her after my OB visit after she started questioning me on birth control like she did after I lost my baby at 15 weeks while I was still in the hospital. Like other reviews say she acts annoyed and like she would rather be anywhere else. ZERO beside manner or compassion for patients."

"I read multiple reviews saying that this provider seemed uninterested, rude and annoyed. I deeply regret not listening. I am sure if you are a thin, already fairly healthy person, that Dr Barrows is probably a wonderful physician and I am glad if that is your experience. But if you have health issues and are fat, I would strongly strongly recommend finding a different provider. I left feeling humiliated, unheard and dismissed completely. I was basically told that I couldn't be helped until I lost weight. I cried in my car after my appointment and just felt absolutely awful. I cried after I got home. I cried before I went to bed. And I'm crying as a write this review. I read my after visit notes on my MyChart and even the notes Dr Barrows wrote felt snarky and unsympathetic. Medicine as a whole is unkind and uncaring to fat patients. Navigating the medical system as a fat human being is scary and often times painful. This experience is exactly why I don't seek medical help unless I feel I have no other choice. I deeply regret not canceling my appointment. Updating my review: Thanks to this wonderfully traumatic visit with Dr Barrow, I've fallen back into my disordered habits and have been living off of 800 or less calories a day since April. So thank you, I guess. I'm losing the weight you told me I needed to before anyone would actually help me. Hope this doesn't make my heart issues worse. But at least I'm losing weight. Right?"

"My appointment with Dr. Barrow was at 1 pm. I left her office at 1:35 pm! She was very nice, very thorough and answered all of my questions very satisfactorily. Her staff person was very courteous and helpful in assisting Dr. Barrow with everything. I highly recommend Dr. Barrow."

"Dr Barrow is wonderful! She likes to talk with her patients before their exam, which is more comfortable for me (vs. being undressed). She was willing and able to discuss my concerns with me and followed up by phone after I had sent her a message through MyChart."

"I saw Dr. Barrow and left feeling as though I had just been bullied and completely made to feel as insignificant as possible. Not only did she not seem to care and had zero empathy, the fact that I was nervous seemed to be an affront to her. She acted as though she was offended somehow. However, after reading these reviews, I'm somewhat relieved to know I was NOT the cause. She was short, rude, acted as though she could barely stand to be in the same room. And towards the end of the visit, she asked "do you want to do the physical exam"? And I was so confused, I said, "yes" and we went through with the exam. However, at the end of the visit, I was told to follow up and she left like I was a huge waste of her time and she walked out without saying goodbye or anything of the sort. The more I think about it, the madder it makes me. I will absolutely not be going back."
