"3 ladies behind the register counter and the 2 60+ year olds make the young 20 something year old do all the work. Rude store with their laughs and comments after I leave the register, and it's a shame because I live 5 minutes away. I'm giving two stars just because I like the 3 shirts I ordered online and picked up in person. Will order elsewhere next time."

"We have them another chance and they were friendly and personable this visit. So I will give them a chance again. The Rio Rancho location is disrespectful and rude. I went to return an online purchase, due to safety concerns I paid with PayPal. For some reason Cato allows PayPal purchases, since the company knows that many people trust the security of PayPal. But if you return it to the store they refuse to credit your account. Or the card that was processed through PayPal. I explained that on checkout through online that was never disclosed. The clerk/ ? Manager said it IS disclosed on checkout. Here you can plainly see it isn't. Yet she basically called me a liar 3 times in front of other employees and customers. That employee should work in the stock room not dealing lying to and disrespecting customers. I drove 100 miles round trip to go, since they closed the store on the east side and was going to shop after making my return, but since I had bought several items a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't sure if I needed anything. I was returning because the items didn't fit properly and one of them wasn't even made properly. Cato's quality has dipped since Covid and it seems customer service has really gone down since the East side store closed. After the disrespect and lying, I don't know if I will be back. Which is disappointing because I really enjoyed shopping at Cato for the past decade."

"I have money to buy everything in the store but went in after looking at properties and not so dressed up... prejudice and racial discrimination reared their ugly heads... seriously lady did you have to be so rude ??? extremely disappointing... I'm not the lightest skinned Jew but God help the darker skin ...$500 later I should have gone to the mall like I was going to do.. even at Dillards they have never been this rude..."

"There is a woman in there ( older ) woman with long brown hair. My dotter and shop there alot,or unto. We Went in and had this woman following us around always with in 6'. Felt like we were being stoked. I made a comment , This woman remark that they just had things stolen and they were told to follow people around.. (So treat everyone like a theaf. Where is the logic in that. If you make your customers go away then then nothing will get stolen! Smart ) I am not a thief my daughter is not a thief and I don't have a appreciate being treated like one. I hope they open another store in Albuquerque Otherwise I'm not going to that store."
