"Terrible experience. Extremely unprofessional. Pill pushing. When asked what I wanted from therapy my reply was “I would like to work on past trauma and see how it plays in my present.” Was matched with I needed to up my medication dose. Kept pushing medication and no plan in place about dealing with emotions, triggers and past trauma. Please do not go here. Worst experience ever"
"I am very sad I have to post this. My therapist Amy gets a 10 but they get a negative 10 for their interactions with patients. I worked as a hospital CFO for years and based in CA so my expectations are very high. And we had Kaiser there for decades which we all miss so much. I have looked through all texts from them and issues started way back, when they send a change of session online 15 minutes after session was supposed to start. Next was a site down that they didn’t admit so I couldn’t connect. There were more office staff issues ongoing since early 2022. Also their text system is not intuitive so they have no idea who you are when you text. And there have been at least 10 different folks responding to emails the past year. Also notices of appts come from a different unlinked system so you may miss one of the other. The only constant reminders are payment and they have changed the way payment is made at least 4 times in last year. These as office folks I have dealt with plus owner whose name I don’t remember: Roxy, Sarah, Danika, Cameron, Gaby, Xavia, Jen A, Michelle, Rachel, Michele T. And that’s the ones with a name. 10 people. At this point I need to have an hour of counseling just to get past all the negative energy. I have texts to support all I said."
"So I need to completely rewrite my review of this therapist that works here named Meghan Martin. I originally had written this about her apparently unprofessional behavior regarding making my ex-partner wait well past his scheduled session time. After having broken up with him, it came to my attention that he had actually received cards on both a Christmas and Valentine's Day from her in the past. He had told me that a therapist had done this, but I was unaware that it was her until I got that information from sources that were also close to him, who have also been hurt by him. She had asked to meet me in a session but I found it highly inappropriate of her to ask such things. He had left his phone on speaker one evening while he supposedly waited for her to log on, which I had finally agreed to talk to her under the idea that I was going to assist him in his therapy, but I know that most systems for online sessions allow for the therapist to see the other side without showing themselves yet, which seemed odd. During our breakup, when I was packing my things to leave, somehow she's suddenly on the phone with him all day. I was made out to be this hostile, evil person when I was just trying to get everything of mine packed to get out of the situation as there were times I thought he'd physically attack me. It's incredibly odd that she took literally hours of his time in the evening for their session while I'm waiting to make dinner for us, and be on the phone with the abuser all day, but couldn't be on time for his sessions. But, since he was outside or in the bedroom and I gave him his due privacy, I wonder was it just him cheating with her since those Valentine's and Christmas cards were sent? Either way, extremely inappropriate, unprofessional and honestly, from the evidence I've seen, also unethical and even illegal. I would never suggest this therapy clinic to anyone after this absolutely insane conundrum. The fact my ex was so abusive aside, just the fact they employ someone like this."
"Was on many waitlists and I was so happy out of the 10 waitlists I was on Elevation got back to me. I’ve only been here a few weeks but it has been great. I enjoy my therapist and the admin has been so helpful. I would recommend Elevation."
"My med management doctor in Artesia referred me to Elevation because they do telehealth appointments and I haven't found a therapist that is the right fit for me in my area. I am SO glad I actually made an appointment! If you get on the wait list, be patient. Rhonda is my therapist and she is amazing, supportive and so easy to speak to. Now I have several family members and friends who are patients. The office staff that I've spoken to are so nice! You'd think all mental health practices have kind people working in their office but they don't. Because it's telehealth, I arranged to take my lunch early on the day I have my weekly appointment and go to my car and do my session. I don't have to take off extra time from work to drive to my session. Occasionally, I have to reschedule my appointment, and I can't speak for all the therapists, but Rhonda always offers to make arrangements to reschedule my appointment that week. My only side note, and I'd give them 5 stars regardless of this, is it's hard to find a therapist who specializes in children who has appointments after school. There is a shortage of therapists all over New Mexico, so it's unfortunate but understandable that after school appointments would be hard to come by. Solicited or not, I recommend Elevation to all my friends and family."
