"Sandraluz is immensely informative, caring, and knowledgeable about causes and remedies to mouth related dysfunction. I've been seeing her for several months and have markedly improved tongue and lip posture. Her staff is also very friendly. Highly recommend."
"I've had an incredibly positive and productive experience. I'm an adult patient who's had a lot of underlying issues with my tongue and jaw. Sandraluz has been so helpful. Her, and the team she surrounds herself with are incredibly talented and knowledgeable. Thank you!"
"My child had a tongue tie I had it removed and followed up here with stretches. I was given a few exercises to do, that benefited my breastfeeding and bottle feeding in no way shape or form my child still continued to click and sleep with mouth open. They got in my head here and I had my 5 year old checked out and again it didn’t help her in any way! This company’s favorite line “it’s such a disservice to our customers to accept insurance because they want us to do our consultation in 15 minutes” but yet all my appointments took that amount of time if not shorter! The consult is always rushed and time taken up more by the presentation than her giving you tips specifically for your baby! This place is honestly a joke and I wouldn’t waste my money sadly after I spent over 200 300 dollars that my insurance NEVER refunded me like I was told. I would find someone who’s more educated and can actually help people."
"I am forever grateful to Sandraluz and her team at Southwest Myofunctional Therapy. I brought in one of my kids on referral from her orthodontist. After the initial intake photos/meetings a follow up meeting was scheduled to go over everything Sandraluz saw. It was the most informative and amazing meeting. A lot of the time, these follow up meetings with professionals are over my head, I leave more confused and with more questions, I never feel 100% confident, and I am always second guessing if I'm with the right provider. NOT the case with Sandraluz. She is the most kind, thoughtful, professional, patient, caring, and genuine person. Truly incredible. I think the world of her!! And her team!! I brought my youngest in shortly after on referral from her dentist. She has a pretty severe tongue tie and getting her into Myo with Sandraluz was not only super important for her but it also answered so many mysteries surrounding this child and her relationship with food. I trust Sandraluz completely and I can't imagine being on this myo journey with anyone else! With my two daughters in Myo, I thought I should probably bring my oldest in (boy, 12) to be evaluated and sure enough, he had some tongue stuff going on too. Not surprising since the girls had it. Sandraluz has this incredible way of meeting each child exactly where they are at. The middle school boy had some difficulty sticking to his exercises and she held space for him to be super frustrated one day, told him she believed in him, gave him reasons (that a 12 year old can relate to and therefore hear!!!) and after that appointment he really took initiative and continued with his work. And! He "graduated" earlier than expected. The progress all three kids made in Myofunctional Therapy was incredible. Their mouths are functioning in all the right ways (they were not before!), they are not grinding or snoring at night, they are breathing through their noses during the day without having to remind themselves, their posture is better, they are sleeping better, eating better, and in OVERALL BETTER HEALTH. I wish everyone could experience Myofunctional Therapy with Sandraluz and her team. It has been the biggest health benefit to my children. I wish we had done it sooner! Forever grateful! Sandraluz is a really special woman. I know she LOVES what she does. I know she loves her patients. I trust her completely. There aren't enough stars in the sky to rate Southwest Myofunctional Therapy. They get them all, and more! I 100% would recommend Sandraluz and her team."
"My son received great care at Southwest Myofunctional Therapy. The customer service is exceptional. Sandra Luz is wonderful with children. She would joke with my son an made him feel very comfortable. She referred him to have a frenectomy and talked to him about what to expect and helped ease his fear about the procedure."
