Senior health clinic 1823 Camino de Salud, Albuquerque, NM 87106

"I'm so disappointed in the UNM senior health clinic. I've been taking my mother there for a few years. Her previous Dr (Bigley) was amazing, sadly she left. My mother was seen at the clinic on 11/13/23 we expressed to the Dr that my mom may have a UTI no tests were ordered for her, we also mentioned that was in a lot of pain in her leg and upper thigh to the point that she wasn't walking anymore. An "emergency" MRI was ordered but the radiology clinic couldn't get her scheduled until December 13th. She was sent home with no relief except Ibuprofen 800 for "arthritis" A week later I had my mom admitted to Presbyterian Hospital where she was diagnosed with a severe UTI which resulted in kidney failure. The ER doc ordered an ultrasound where they discovered a massive tumor in her abdomen, that spread to her lower back and down her thigh. My mother was sent home on hospice care November 28, sadly she passed away December 2nd. I know that the UNM clinic couldn't have prevented the diagnosis but I feel that they could've been more attentive to her and at the very least get a urine sample to test for a UTI. Sadly, healthcare for the elderly is almost nonexistent."

"Horrible!!! From the Top down to my father's doctor. So bad in fact, I'm filling complaints to the medical board, as well as a law suit to follow. Look at their ratings, they speak volumes! They make it clear when you take issues to the top, the top doesn't have you're best interest, or even their own for that matter, in mind."
