"Helpful and knowledgeable staff (Pedro and Eli) got me squared away. Would recommend coming to this place and buying the REI membership."
"Bailey (not sure in spelling) was the most helpful person I have encountered while trying to get into mountain biking. After I informed him I was new to the activity he gave me maintenance tips, gear advice, and helped me get the bike rack set up on my car in the rain! Above and beyond as an employee and in customer care. He also recommended apps and trails to start on."
"Horrible walked around the store for 45 min. three store walkers looked right at me and kept going no one asked me if I needed any help I wanted a bike lock 8 finally found them but why buy them there I'll just keep ordering from Amazon"
"Super knowledgeable staff, let’s see if my S-series Specialized is up to par once I get it back in a week! Update: Purchased a new diamondback from REI, awesome service. The downside, is the long waiting period. Accessibility side note: Building is accessible."
"I have given REI bike shop a good review a few years ago. I have used the REI bike shop from my annual bike tune-up for several years. Always decent. A couple weeks ago I had a flat and I decided it was time to by new tires for my mountain bike. Bought a set of MAXXIS 26"x2.3" tires. I asked them to put 2 new tubes in and mount the tires. They put everything together and gave me the empty boxes. The tubes they put in were not the correct size. Apparently they did not have the correct 'fatter' tubes with Slime so they just used inappropriately thin tubes because they had them. I would have gladly changed to a different tire set to match these tubes, if they would have asked me (I stayed in the store and waited while they mounted the tires). I decided to accept their decision and brought the bike home. Road the bike once. The next day I discovered one flat tire. The tube slit in the rear tire, which made a mess of the tire interior. I ordered two new tubes on line to replace the 'wrong size' tubes of REI. Bad decisions were made without asking the customer's permission. Not happy."
