"**‼️Don't WASTE YOUR TIME Shopping at St Johns Thrift Store. Its VERY PRICEY for Used Clothes, Shoes, Jackets, Purses.. etc!! You would make alot more money if you lowered Prices on Used Clothing/Shoes. I would buy a big bag full.. as other Customers would too NOT only is the Clothes Used, it's not in Style (Some are) most aren't.. however I would still buy if PRICES DROPPED. It's all Donated, you will still make Money **OVERPRICED ON EVERYTHING IN THE STORE‼️Walmart or any other Thrift Store is Cheaper for New Clothes. I'll continue shopping at Thrift Store on Wyoming N. Of Menaul. All Clothes is $1.00 (even Jackets, Suits)! What a Bargain!"
"Great buys, a wide and changing selection, but not over-crowded, and a good cross-section of vintage and of new-or-almost-new stuff. This is an all-volunteer enterprise with the proceeds going to charitable purposes. I like the half-off on whatever-color-tag -- where the good prices become a steal! Limited hours, but this is a go-to place for me for books, puzzles, DVDs, sweaters and knick-knacks - and for coffee mugs for our break-room at work."
"Staff had issues with payment processor... Take cash! Good selection, reasonable prices. Puts its neighbor to shame easily."
"I'm torn on this review. While I have found some cute things there and even a few clothing items that fit previously as well as good prices on very nice dishes, I had an unpleasant experience today that made me leave quickly. During my latest trip, the couple working out front were discussing the assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh and saying things like "Nobody carried her into that room" and "She should have known what happens at parties with alcohol", etc. I don't think I'll be back. Whether you have the opinion or not that women can't seem to want to socialize without expecting someone to attempt assault, it's extremely unprofessional to discuss that in front of customers. Not something I want to hear, and I'm very glad my friend wasn't with me today, as that definitely would have highly upset her, being a survivor of sexual assault herself."
"St. John's is small, but the quality of their items is usually really nice. The people who staff are friendly and helpful, but they tend to be older, so if you need help carrying a heavy piece of furniture, you should bring your own help. The best part about St. John's is that they are run by volunteers, enabling them to give more money to the ministries that the thrift store helps to fund."
