"My wife and I are from Ohio and travel around all over this great country in our motorcoach. We purchased a couple of rib eye steaks in late September and placed them in the freezer. We just grilled them and enjoyed what turned out to be the very best steaks we have ever had, no kidding, the best! We will make it a point to stop back whenever we are in the area for sure! "They're selling nearly rotten food here. We bought their marinated chicken skewers and they were absolutely horrible. The texture was rubbery like shrimp and the flavor was like old soaked salsa. I kept trying it and wondering if it was just undercooked, despite looking done. So I'd put it back on and kept cooking it. The problem never went away. This is a telltale sign of something having soaked in marinade too long, meaning it's old. We had to throw out all of it. The twice baked potatoes were good but you really can't mess those up. The jalapeno poppers were flavorless despite having bacon wrapped around them. They also cost $2/each and the second one they gave us was like half a popper compared to the first. Felt super cheated. We bought a huge haul here and I'm really worried about the rest of the product. I wouldn't recommend getting meat here unless you're 1000% sure it's fresh. Ask when the dishes were prepared. I saw them trying to sell old rib eye at a measly $2 off per pound (from $30) despite the whole thing being grey. That should've been a red flag. We won't be back."
"Not much to say except AMAZING!!! The quality of meat is second to none. The quality of the butchering us second to none. I drive 175 miles one way to buy dog bones here. The owner gets in rib bones and cut up hip bones when my home town butcher has never been able to. Where this shop falls short is in the fish department. Nothing special, in particular the smoked fish definitely nothing special. That aside this is still an amazing butchershop. FYI bring cash, save your self a card fee."
